Answer:	My response is "no" for two reasons. First, I would recommend a bicycle with gears (3-speed, 10-speed, etc.) for that kind of distance twice a day. Second, the circumference of the gear that turns the bicycle chain is smaller than most beach bikes. This is significant because the rider of this bike has to pedal faster to go the same speed as other bikes. I wish I had known this before I bought this bike! I find it difficult to keep up with my friends, even though I am pedaling faster than they are!

Answer:	I did not receive the basket that is shown. Mine is a metal wire basket that folds up. I am not real crazy about the basket but I decided that it was not that important to me, I have since taken it off. So I guess to answer your question it would depend on which basket you get.

Answer:	No, don't buy this bike if you are 5'2''. When sitting on the seat you feet will not touch the ground. Probably need to be 5'4'' or taller to touch the ground. Once going you could ride this bike but considering it is heavy the starting and stopping would be a pain. We had to return ours.

Answer:	Quite heavy probably.75#. Not a problem as you probably want a heavier bike when using power.
Question:	Is it ok for an 85 year old man
Answer:	Well, i have to say yes, if he currently rides a bike this size or has driven an electric bike. Remember that with an electric bike, when you start to peddle, the motor kicks in and the bike takes off. You can avoid this by applying the brake and it will slow down a bit. I would suggest riding the bike with the key turned off at first, then turn the key on. He's 85 and i'm not a doctor, but care should be taken if he has no experience riding a bike. If he rides a bike all the time, then by all means let him go for it. My wife loves her bike and its very stable and controllable. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I would not call it water proof, it is electric - it has worked for me in the rain and after it was in the rain so it resists rain fairly well - it's never given me any problems but I'm not going to tell you to use an electric bike in the rain if the manufacturer does not specifically warrantee use in the rain - my advice is "it works in the rain (and after the rain) I do not recommend using it in the rain or getting the electrical/electronic parts wet"

Answer:	I have left this out in the rain and used it in the rain and had no problems - I still recommend keeping it under a roof in a dry place - the battery holder does collect water when it rains - I recommend checking this and dumping it out or soaking it up with a rag when necessary - it has shown itself to me to be somewhat water/rain resistant but it's still electric so I would still not press it and recommend keeping it dry if possible - but if you are concerned about buying it because you fear it might not work in the rain don't be, you should buy it

Answer:	Nothing I could find. I received a 250.00 refund from the seller once amazon got involved. The seller did not want the bike back when I tried to get a refund. I was able to sell it on Craigs list for 200.00 so my monetary loss was around 150.00 when I finally settled it. Let the buyer beware.

Answer:	I haven't opened it yet so I can not answer the question but what I got was not the one pictured. The one pictured has guppies that float, my kids 2 and 3 year old played with it in the town pool but the one I received, orange shark with green guppies, I am not sure.

Answer:	I don't think so because you cannot put the seat all the way down due to the battery rack on the back. I think someone 4'11" might not reach the peddles. There is really not much room for adjustment for someone short.

Question:	Do the handle bars raise or lower
Answer:	You can raise and lower to just a certain level which is not much. I would suggest you don’t buy this bike because getting assistance if something goes wrong with the bike is impossible. I have been trying to get assistance with getting my bike repaired since the end of July. No one in my area will make the repair since it is not Locally manufactured and the seller is in Tokyo. I have reached out to the manufacturer several times and after they asked for pictures & video on what is wrong with the bike they stopped responding to Amazon and my emails. Good luck

Answer:	The answer is no. you can not overcharge the battery with a BMS which prevents this. also the battery charger will stop charging when it detects that the battery is fully charged.

Answer:	The frame is 19" and the wheel size is 26". I usually recommend riders between 5"4 to 6"4" to ride this bike comfortably.
Question:	How fast does it go
Answer:	Depends on your weight, too. Over 200 lbs and it won't go as fast as a 175 lb rider.

Answer:	All electrical devices including the motor and battery pack are water resistant meaning that you can ride the bike under the rain. Answer:	The wires are color coded so just place red to red. You don't need four batteries. One 1000w battery pack will work. It must be a 1000w battery.
Question:	How wide does the rear triangle need to be to fit the hub? I have a narrow single-speed bike and am worried from reviews it won't fit
Answer:	Great Question! The quick answer is the rear triangle needs to be much wider than a single speed. I have installed this kit on 2 different multi-speed bikes and had to widen the triangle on each one. I don't have specific measurements to give you but you will need to cold form the triangle to fit the hub. It is not hard to do if you are handy with tools. Other questions you need to ask are... Brakes. If you have a single speed with a coaster brake, Forget it. You will need to get a caliper type break kit (and a good one at that). Second is you are going to have a multi gear rear wheel with no derailier. Adjusting the chain so it stays on is going to be difficult at best. you could swap out the multi gear freewheel for a single speed but that will open up more problems and not solve the braking problem.My quick advice to you if you want to build one of these is to find a different bike. you will probably have to modify that as well but not as drastically. These things are a blast but you want to make sure you have a safe and solid set up.I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Answer:	Buy the best battery that you can afford. I also recommend that you go with the Lithium battery option and buy the largest Amp Hour (ah) rating that you can afford. The higher the ah the longer the range. You can find many options on Ebay but beware and carefully read about what exactly you are buying and where it comes from. After a lot of research I purchased my 48v (52v at full capacity) 20 ah battery pack from calibike.com as well. He met all the criteria that I was looking for including... Excellent price. The price included a top quality charger. Excellent built quality including the Battery Management System (BMS). He is located in the USA. I received my battery in less than a week. If you buy from over seas / China it can take a month or more to receive your order. I spoke to Calibike extensively via email and by phone before making my purchase. The owner was very happy to answer any and all my questions and was very prompt with replying. Take note of his recommendation on what size and type of fuse to get (the fuse set up with the kit is rubbish and you will soon be replacing it).That said, Also consider and plan for how you will carry/ attach the battery pack and ESC to your bike. The bag that comes with the kit is of poor quality and does not attach very securely nor will it last very long. As you are no doubt finding out the batteries cost more than the kit itself. Protect your investment.
