1.This bicycle arrives 85% assembled. You will need to install the pedals, front wheel, handlebar and air up the tires.



2. Rotate the fork for 180 degree before assemble the front wheel (the brake will be in front of the bike)



3. Pedal threads are different from left side and right side. L / R signs are marked on the spindle of the each pedal, make sure they are assembled on the right side (when you ride on the bike, left pedal on your left hand, right pedal on your right hand). The right side pedal has a right-hand thread(removes counterclockwise, installs clockwise). The left side pedal has a left-hand thread.

I will be in Florida for 2 week where I would love to use it before taking it to Europe where its main use will be to load it on to the train as the regular bikes need a train ticket and the folded ones if packed in the bag are is free :) Does anybody know the exact measure of the shipping box it comes in? I would love to do some research before coming to the US for a sturdy box which could fit the checked bag dimensions hopefully. Thanks.

Answer:	I believe so. The seat is adjustable and the bar between the seat and handle bars loops down like a traditional woman's or girls bike allowing you to stand when stopped.

Answer:	The bike is made of aluminum. Not steel as some people say here. Only steel frame part is front fork. Even seat post is aluminum pipe. Handle bar is aluminum as well.
Question:	hi I am 6-2 would I be able to ride this bike comfortably
Answer:	I am 6' tall and am comfortable riding this bike. Considering that your knees should be slightly bent at the bottom of your pedal stroke, I still have sufficient seat height and handle bar adjustment to set the bike up for a taller rider. Make sure you slide the seat forward or backward so that your knee is centered over the pedal axle at the top of the pedal stroke as well. Tip the seat up or down to minimize seat pressure on your most tender parts. Tipping the seat downward in front just a bit will also tip your pelvis forward for a more comfortable ride. Balance this off with the handle bar height to reduce pressure on your hands and wrists. If the bar is too low, you will tip forward and put too much pressure on your hands and wrists...

Question:	Is this bike easy to lean elbows on handles and read
Answer:	You can hold a book with both hands but the bike is stable and comfortable and should be fine for reading. The bike is very good quality and relatively easy to assemble.
Question:	IS IT EASY ASSEMBLE
Answer:	I am not mechanically inclined and was able to assemble in 1 1/2 hours. The 4 steps were clear and I just read each step 3 times before I started. I like how the tools were labeled by step. Very impressed how sturdy it is and easy to move around.
Question:	I have read through the majority of reviews but is anybody losing weight using this bike? If so, how much? How fast
Answer:	primary objective was blood sugar control (which was achieved), but I lost 50 lb in 6 months with no major dietary changes. If weight loss is your primary objective I would also recommend consulting a nutritionist, as weight loss with an cardio program can start off very fast (6-10 lb a month for first 4 months) at first, but get disappointing as it slows down a few months (typically 2-5 lb/month now). I typically do 5000-7000 calories a week at resistance 5-8. I believe this is because as you decrease your body size, you require less maintenance calories, as this loss is relatively constant 2-4% per month.
Question:	How do I avoid being shocked when connecting this to power my time machine
Answer:	Shock cannot be avoided, it is essential to jumping through time; forward only. You must use a file to remove the finish off 2 small areas on the bike frame and remove handle bar grips and seat cover. Then, cut the female end off of an extension cord, strip the wires. Attach 2 appropriately sized hose clamps to the frame, tight enough to just stay in place. Insert the ends of the stripped wire btween clamps and frame, 1 wire per clamp. Tighten clamps. Get on the bike and pedal near max speed. When you’re dripping with sweat and you’re ready for time jump have an assistant plug the cord into any wall outlet. When you wake up it will be tomorrow but it will seem like a blink of an eye. Worst case senerio it will only be an hour in the future or you may be eternally suspended in the “jump” phase and never land. This bike IS a time machine.

Answer:	It folds up easily. It is heavier than my road bike. I think it is around 30 pounds. Not sure. The hardest part about going up stairs is to hold the bike out in front of you so you don't get any of the dirt or grease on your clothes.

Answer:	My suggestion is, don't get the expert assembly. I didn't, for the bike arrives nearly fully assembled. I had to tighten two hex bolts and that was it. I was riding it in 10 minutes.

Question:	Can a standard bike rack be attached to this bike? If not, can one be puchased from Swagtron
Answer:	Yes, I have added the Lumintrail Bike Commuter Carrier Rack w/Seatpost Quick Release found here on Amazon. Looks great and allows me to mount my small rear cargo bag to carry my extra battery. I also added a mirror because I wasn't comfortable not being able to see those electric cars sneaking up on me. You need to go with a bar end type mirror because there is really not enough room on the handlebars to mount a regular mirror. Plus the bars are narrow which doesn't allow the mirror to stick out far enough to see around your body.
Question:	Can this climb 25 degree slopes with the electric assistance
Answer:	Yep, and *even* more! I’ve ridden all of San Francisco and it’s most notorious hills. Heck I took it on a speed run down Lombard after drag racing it down the top of California street during the evening where traffic is nonexistent. I trialed 6 ebikes, and with some minor adjustment (break system ahem) I found this to be the absolute best all around for a hill climb. I can do market to the top of nob hill with zero peddling.... not just assist... zero, just the bike doing it’s thing.
Question:	How many miles should I expect using pedal assist
Answer:	Depends on battery wear, weight, route, and incline. There’s a formula, and I believe a firmware update that will calculate it, but it’s generally between 5 -18 miles as the outside worst and best case scenarios. Dead flat road, average weight and good battery you’ll get 18-20, Hills galore max break and inclines a pro skier would shy away from lunatic riding will get you 5 miles. Battery wear also plays a *major* factor. Decreases miles per charge over time. If you’re good with topological maps you can calculate it pretty accurately.
Question:	I’m 6’1 is that going to be an issue riding the bike
Answer:	It won’t be an issue if you don’t mind riding a bike that will be the size of a children’s bike comparatively. Now, in the city you can get away with this because compact toss in the back of your Uber is totally fine. The bike will indeed haul you around the city even at 6’1” and at 190 - 220 lbs. I have ridden it with a second passenger which brought the weight up to around 300lb at which point it was unable to make graded inclined roads, but it did manage flat street road. I’ve put over 1000 miles on this bike, taken it completely apart and put it back together. The major issue with your size will be the breaks actually since it will not be able to handle to momentum. This can be dangerous, so don’t attempt any 35 degree inclines without serious safety equipment. I’m talking a full motorcycle helmet and Kevlar jacket and steel plate gloves and boots. Speaking from experience, you get going 35moh down hill on that thing.... there is nothing that’s going to stop you except taking a nasty dive... or a garbage truck at an impromptu moment. So, yes, it will work, but take it safely and test first. There are after market brakes you can adjust to handle this, but it’s more of a complete breaking system overhaul since the entire system isn’t designed tor it. Personally I prefer this route since the gearing box and disassembly is dirt simple if you know your way around and have a full set of security bits, I can break mine down in about 15 minutes and do a full replacement now. Even carry a multi tool pack in case the ceramic pads shatter due to my well... Unsanctioned mods. So other than life threatening hills, and a little humility, you’re totally fine. When I mean life threatening, I live in SF, and I’m talking about going down Broadway at top speed.... utterly terrifying. We actually made a bet that an, and I joke not, an Olympic contender could not make it up it on a standard mountain bike. They did, and we cracked a sweet, sweet 1947 bottle. It was the sweetest of all victories. So when someone says no, you can’t ride this bike you tall lunatic, remember this hero’s tale of victory against all possible odds. Let it inspire you, BE BOLD.
