Looking at the listing now and it looks like the orange/black version is not available. Look for others who bought - see if they received a bike with handbrakes/gears.

Answer:	the only problem assembling this bike was one of my own stupidity. I had the front fender assembly put on backwards so it was difficult to line up the holes. Once I figured out my error it was easy. The only things you really have to put together on this bike is the front fender and tire, the handle bars, seat, basket and cup holder and pedals. If you have a decent set of tools you can do this.
