Answer:	It doesn't have wire. It's wicker all over with a board inside in the bottom. I love mine! But I don't carry super heavy things in it. Just leisurely bike ride things like water, phone, keys.

Answer:	No. Made of wood. We took it in after riding to prevent damage.
Question:	What bicycle basket for a dog? She is 9.5 Lbs
Answer:	Bottom is narrow but she might fit. My yorkie did but she was only 6 lbs

Answer:	14 is the width across the handlebars. I think 10 is the depth (handlebars to tire) of the basket.

Question:	Would it fit on a ladies Schwinn bike
Answer:	Yes it would. My bike is a 26”, but our handle bars are pretty much the same size. For assembly, there are (rubber) spacers to help fit the bracket on any handlebar. I love the basket, my dog loves it too. I think you’ll be happy with it. FYI: aluminum frame is lightweight... don’t let your bike tip over with basket on... it could possibly damage the frame if it hits hard.

Question:	Is it stable enough after installation
Answer:	I believe so, if you stay within the intended weight limit. I have a thirteen pound Yorkie who loves to ride in it. He is at the limit on weight. When I first installed it, the basket would tend rotate on the handlebar. When it did this the bottom would rub on the front tire. I had to really tighten it down hard to avoid this. Otherwise, no issues at all.
Question:	Will this fit a medium sized kids bike
Answer:	I don’t know why it would not fit a medium kids bike. We have ours on a full size adult bike and our puppy loves the ride. Easy clip on and take off basket it perfect for our needs.
Question:	Can a 6 pound dog lay down in it
Answer:	I believe so

Answer:	You attach a bracket to the bicycle, all you need is a screwdriver and then the basket attaches to it. Very easy to slide on and off. Not particularly robust though, I wouldn't put anything to heavy in it.

Answer:	The black plastic square is what attaches it to the hook on the bike. When you remove the basket, nothing sticks out from that. It is easy to remove and to carry. Works for me.
