Question:	Does this set include a seat stay mount
Answer:	It came be pretty loud depending on the size fly or bug that it is zapping the smaller the insect the less loud and time, the bigger the insect it can be loud and zap it for about 15-20 seconds. Living in Florida with 4 dogs going in and out of the house we get a lot of flies and blind mosquito so this works great for us and we have gotten used to the zapping.

Answer:	china is my best guess got two of these bug zappers one quit working in a few months the other one works great get the little no seems. I wish both were working but one dose a pretty good job for a 3000 sq ft house there are others that work the same but this one looks better than some of the others. good luck.

Answer:	I searched for this 3" option myself and found NOTHING. It sounds to me the likelihood of finding this 3" version would be finding old stock sitting somewhere.

Answer:	I would say yes. As there is room around the latch when it is closed to allow for some wiggle room.

Answer:	Like the other respondent said, a little modification may be necessary to mount the latch/strike on a hollow core interior door, depending on where you'd be mounting the latch. Any reason why a simple magnetic/friction doorstop won't work?

Answer:	Yes this should work . My door is 2" thick. If you have to you can put a piece of 3/4" pine behind the inside handle .

Question:	How long does the charge last for the front light? How often do you need to recharge it
Answer:	I can't find the series on my receipts but I have a Milgard sliding door & screen about 10 yrs old and this fit perfectly. Just measure yours and see if it looks and measures the same. I had to adjust my latch (the one bolted on the frame) that this latches onto. Easy with 2 screws. If it doesn't fit I think you can return it.

Answer:	The metal 'slide' inside the has the locking hook, is stamped as Right on on end and Left on the other. Although I have no way of verifying, I believe if you flip the metal slide 180, it would reverse the mount and thus the direction for the slider to lock to the door jam.

Answer:	Not sure exactly what your asking. Here's what I think you're after...the peg that fits into the latch sticks out about 1.5 in from the post where it's screwed in. Hopefully that helps. This latch worked out great for me...I'll try to attach a pic for a review shortly.

Answer:	I don't know if the metal flange is sold separately. However, it's probably worth it just to replace the whole unit. It wasn't expensive if I remember correctly. My original latch lasted 14 or 15 years, but the plastic eventually broke.

Answer:	Haven't tried a double gate, but it might work by mounting the catch on one gate & the arm on the other. The gate with the catch would have to be closed first, then the gate with the arm swung into it to engage. Likewise, to open, after you release the catch, the gate with the arm would have to be swung open first. Not really the ideal use of this latch & to make good use of the swing-closed-to-automatically-latch feature, the timing required likely is too touchy.

Answer:	The material used for this is steel, however, it is protected with WeatherGuard: WeatherGuard When subjected to 312 hours of salt fog spray testing (BHMA A138.18), zinc plated hardware showed severe corrosion while hardware with WeatherGuard™ protection withstood these harsh conditions with very little deterioration.

Answer:	I used #10 stainless steel screws with lengths appropriate for the thickness of the wood.

Answer:	You have not specified where that rod is fixed. It takes some engineering skills to fix this latch as it has to be aligned perfectly. It can be installed parallel to other, manual latch at another position on the gate edge, and will work if installed correctly.

Question:	Is light construction plastic or metal
Answer:	Yes it is. I purchased the B1381 in Dec 2019 and it has the security shield symbol on the cover ( it is a shield with half light and half dark divided diagonally). It also has two lock connectors on the unit next to the up and down adjustment buttons close to where you connect the wires for the sensors and control panel and the WiFi learn button. Since it has two lock connectors if you want you can connect two of these locks, one on each side of your door.

Answer:	On mine, the latch has a very positive hook-type catch. If it hooks the bar properly, jiggling will not release it.Bar-to-latch alignment is important, in all three directions - side-to-side, vertical & depth. If misaligned, the latch may not hook the bar.
