Hhere are much brighter lights available but the design takes battery life, weight, size etc etc into account so having a 250 lumen++ light would compromise other features. Answer:	Yes. It comes with two different styles of mounting brackets and some zip ties to hold the bracket in place. I found the zip ties to be too short for my helmet and had to use some longer ones. It is very secure once you get it mounted. Light weight too!

Answer:	micro 650/850. Normal lumina 1000-1200 are the newest models from Niterider with the new reflector design. micro 750. Normal lumina 900-1100 are the older models from Niterider with the standard clear lens. The newer lens strips the light in a wider pattern then it's focus counterpart, giving a wider spread of light for a more broad flood beam vs a focus spot. So the light on the newer lens will look weaker in a condensed area, But will shine fairly well. Won't be as bright looking as the clearer older models len that will have a spot beam. But that is because of the diffuser lens system. Best bet would be use the handlebars with a flood. and a Spot on your helmet for good combo of view point and spot interest.

Answer:	This happens to me sometimes when I put my helmet in a bag and something pushes the button. If that is not what is happening to your light, you should contact the manufacturer. The light will get hot if it is on a long time, so that part is normal.

Answer:	I had this same problem right out of the box and ended up returning it promptly. I haven't had luck getting new parts from manufactures on Amazon, but try messaging them on Amazon. You may get lucky. I would suggest an alternative mount or a different light.
