The mount is positioned slightly to the off-side to also accommodate a bottle cage using the same holes.If using also using a bottle cage in the same position as the pump bracket, just position the pump bracket first and then the bottle cage on top of that, then use the bolts to screw through both. Our innovative flexible hose with in-line pressure gauge is cleverly stored inside the handle and barrel of the pump to maximize compactness. The flexible hose design takes the stress off the valve stem and attaches securely to ensure no air can escape during inflation.

The pressure gauge readout starts at 20 psi (full line), then 30 psi (half-line), then 40 psi (full line) and so on up to 100 psi. As such the gauge is not suitable for low pressure tires e.g. fat tires.

The hose valve head should be screwed down ‘deeply’ onto the tire valve, this, in turn, creates a full seal allowing all the air to be pushed through when pumping and the gauge will rise accurately and smoothly.

How to use the pump on Schrader and Presta valve?

Fit Schrader:

Step 1: Pull the hose out which is inside the pump body

Step 2: The default valve of the adapter is Schrader valve.

Step 3: Make sure the seal is tight enough so that the air would not leak out. Then you could starting inflating.



Fit Presta:

Step 1: Pull the hose out which is inside the pump body

Step 2: The default valve of the adapter is Schrader valve, so you need to unscrew the adapter off and reverse the adapter. Then screw the adapter to the hose. Now the valve of the adapter is Presta valve

Step 3: Make sure the seal is tight enough so that the air would not leak out. Then you could starting inflating.

Question:	Does the retractable extension hose just pull out of the pump body? I have wiggled and pulled quite hard and it does not come out Is there a trick
Answer:	I didn't even realized it pulled out. I was pumping up my tire and when I pulled the pump off the hosed pulled out. Now it goes in and out pretty easily. So yeah, it's a bit tough to get out the first time. But it just pulls out. No tricks.

Answer:	It is 6" long and I put it in an Epessa Cycling Bag E3 that fits in one of the water bottle brackets.
Question:	Did anyone try putting air in the road bike tire with it? I’ve 700x28mm tire and I tried pumping for 5-7mins and barely half filled
Answer:	Yes I use this for a 700x25 and I can get it to about 60-70psi and then the pump starts leaking air. Also the screw on mechanism ends up taking taking my valve core out. I’m switching to a different mini pump.

Question:	Has anyone had the problem with this pump's contact point on the presta valve unscrewing the core when disengaging the adapter
Answer:	This is indeed a problem, but the fault lies with insufficiently tightened cores. To prevent cores from unscrewing, always tighten them with a wrench before installing new tubes or packing a spare. When your tubes are ready to be discarded, consider reserving a core for your kit. They can be sandwiched between a folded piece of packing tape for easier management. I recommend keeping the tubes as well; they can be used for making patches, making rubber bands (very handy for securing Altoids tins), or as sleeves to organize and protect cement tubes and tools.
Question:	Is the Lezyne Sport Drive Hp Hand Pump for Presta valves or Schrader valves ? or both
Answer:	it's both. One end of the detachable hose is presta and the other is schrader. One thing to note that I don't think is mentioned is that the hose screws into the valve, as opposed to the cam action with the lever that you normally find. This makes it a little more tedious but I feel it works better than the small pumps with the cams.
Question:	Does anyone use this to pump up a Sun Mountain V1 golf push cart's tires
Answer:	I use it on motorcycle tires (street bike) in emergencies. It takes 5 min of pumping to get to about 25lbs. The tire is a 180/55/17. Maybe that will give you some comparisons.

For Presta valves with removable cores, we recommend you screw in the core to ensure it's 'snug', this ensures it does n't pull out when unscrewing the Presta valve head.
