Answer:	It may be that when you think you are attaching it you are removing it! It's kind of counter intuitive. You put it over the stem and then Turn it UP, not down toward the rim. To remove it after pumping the air in, you pull the handle DOWN toward the rim. You would think it would be the opposite way. Give it's try that way

Answer:	Yes, this pump works very well for a wide variety of tire volumes and pressures. 2.4" mtb tires pump up quickly and easily. If you want a pump to use ONLY on fat bike, there are some specifically made for that, but we have not tested them against ours yet. They might be slightly faster when pumping up from totally flat, but this pump is infinitely more versatile.
Question:	Box was totally torn open, and only one little gasket about 1/2 inch round..should i have more parts? help before return
Answer:	The Air Handler Floor Pump should come wrapped in a clear poly bag, with a hang tag/instruction booklet and one extra rubber valve grommet in case the original ever wears out. Nothing else. Not to pass the buck, but if your shipment was damaged or partially missing, you should made a claim with Amazon, since they boxed and shipped the item. I am sure they will be helpful.
