For a 'fat tire', I'd suggest using a 25g threaded CO2 cartridge which will deliver about 7.5 psi, alternatively, you could use two threaded 20g cartridges, one 20g cartridge will deliver 5 psi for a fat tire. Please note the inflator head is universal fit so it will work with any standard size threaded CO2 cartridge (12, 16, 20 & 25g), however, the foam sleeve only fits a 16g cartridge. I hope this helps. Answer:	Hi BrianMany thanks for your question - one 16g cartridge will deliver 22 psi for a 27.5x2.25 tire, you'll therefore need 3. Alternatively you can use a larger size CO2 cartridge as the inflator head is universal fit, although the foam sleeve is just designed for 16g. PRESTA & SCHRADER COMPATIBLE

Designed to work with threaded Presta & Schrader tire valve types. Our inflator head uses a clever ‘universal’ head design, which requires no additional attachment. The force of the gas expelled from the inflator head forces the tire valve open.

For Presta valves with removable cores, extra care should be taken to tightly screw the core into the valve stem so it’s nice and 'snug' - you can either use pliers or a valve core tool to tighten the core. This process is the same when using this type of valve with any type of bike pump or CO2 inflator. Presta valves with 'removable cores' are primarily designed if you use valve extenders or use a tire sealant such as 'slime’. The CO2 inflator is not compatible with valve extenders.

LASTING INFLATION OR QUICK FIX?

One important thing to remember with a CO2 inflator is that it’s only a get-home remedy for a puncture. As CO2 gas dissipates through an inner tube over time, you need to re-inflate your tire with air from a pump when you’re back home. As such if you’re touring or bike packing, one of our mini bike pumps is the optimal choice.

Question:	Using only CO2, should this inflate shrader valves
Answer:	I've never used it with CO2 but I just looked at the pump and instructions and it looks like CO2 is Presta-only. The manual chuck (where it fits on the tire valve) unscrews from the pump and you reverse an adaptor to switch to Schrader. It's rubber-lined, not threaded where it goes on the tire valve, and you push it on and hold it there while you pump. The CO2 side is threaded and sized for the smaller Presta stem and is non-changeable.
Question:	Is the pressure release on the CO2 controllable
Answer:	It is controlled by screwing in the CO2. Once the seal is broken all the air will flow into the tire with no adjustment capabilities.

Answer:	It is both reliable and easy to use. It is the simplest of mechanisms, screw onto the storage tank and gently open the valve. You can vary the rate of flow via the valve knob. One word of caution, during use, the apparatus gets VERY cold, that's why there is an insulator to slide onto the CO2 cartridge. But, after you've pressurized the tire/tube, it helps to have some gloves to remove the apparatus (or just wait until it warms up). I've stopped carrying a regular air pump. This is much better.
Question:	How high psi may it reach
Answer:	It depends on the size of co2 cartridge you use. I believe a 16 g cartridge is 100 psi +/-. There is a little flow chart on the packaging to help you decide what size of cartridge will suit your needs.
