Question:	Mine came with a serial number. What (how) should I do with it
Answer:	Mine only has a number on the keys. I suspect like cars it allows initial duplication once you know the master number.

Answer:	NO, it hefty U bolt lock is too small to use alone and the cable is an unruly mess that any decent bolt cutter can cut through unlike the U Bolt which would even slow down a reciprocating saw enough to stop a thief. The key lock design is pick and drill proof enough to not worry about even in NYC. MIne is on a $200 bike and I have never had any package stolen but I used to live in a bad neighborhood in Chicago. It is more like they would cut the weak cable and then lift the WHOLE bike and cut off the u Bolt once safely in their "lair". Since leaving Chicago I lave has no package stolen in about 30 years. I have had plenty undelivered by ONTRAC which Amazon no longer uses but that is another issue. I know this because I have 4K cameras everywhere that evidence whom is at fault. ONTRAC is the worst delivery service ever.

I went around locally and could only find the "H" bracket which is used to mount on the handlebars, which my bike cannot do as it has an older bent style of handlebar. I would love a link to the regular bracket for mini-6 that can go inside the frame on the same post as the seat, opposite where the water bottle usually is. You know, the place most people mount their locks.

Answer:	The locks is great I don't like the upgrade and where my bike buy mounted it so not happy with that. He put on side I would still put on top rail on mens bike.the last one I had the plastic broke & the lock fell off while I was riding & lost it after about the 4th time falling. Just keep in basket. The lock is really good and is wide & long enough to fit around almost anything. I would go for it & try to mount the clip on the top bar not the side. If you have a basket just use that. The lock is really good.

Answer:	4.5x11.5 inches. Note that the 11.5" is measured to the longest dimension of the curved end.

Answer:	It comes with a small mount which clamps onto your bike frame and the lock clips to it. You'll find though that the lock is so long, there's nowhere on your bike to fit it. Mine's a fixie and the lock's too long to mount in the frame area, and mounting anywhere outside of the frame obstructs the pedals and my knees. I just hook it over the handlebars now.

Answer:	This is a disc detainer lock. It has a semi-flat key with a mostly rectangular cross section with multiple angled cuts designed to rotate the discs inside to specific points.
