Answer:	The first few links are not covered so you could easily thread the lock through them.

Answer:	It is a factor of how much room you have to maneuver the chain (distance between the bike and the pole$ and how much of the bike you want to lock up. I need to include the rear wheel and the frame. But at five feet that still gives you 2.5 feet distance from bike to pole. So I would say yes

Answer:	Wayne winton does a video about this very subject. He is a professional lock smith. He does this stuff for a living. The answer is yes you might be able to cut this chain with 42" bolt cutters if you had a peefect scenario, but he couldn't seem to get his high end 42s with sharp blades and perfect leverage to touch this chain. You can look the videos up on youtube. Honestly, id be more worried about angle or die grinders getting this than any bolt cutter unless it was a high end electric over hydraulic cutter that most people are not going to have.

Answer:	Ran into this issue myself. Kryptonite recommends the Transit H-bar carrier for this particular U-Lock. The only New York lock that will fit in the holster is the standard NY lock. Not the mini.

Answer:	Mine only has a number on the keys. I suspect like cars it allows initial duplication once you know the master number.

Answer:	There is a number stamped on the key. Should be able to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement

Answer:	NO, it hefty U bolt lock is too small to use alone and the cable is an unruly mess that any decent bolt cutter can cut through unlike the U Bolt which would even slow down a reciprocating saw enough to stop a thief. The key lock design is pick and drill proof enough to not worry about even in NYC. MIne is on a $200 bike and I have never had any package stolen but I used to live in a bad neighborhood in Chicago. It is more like they would cut the weak cable and then lift the WHOLE bike and cut off the u Bolt once safely in their "lair". Since leaving Chicago I lave has no package stolen in about 30 years. I have had plenty undelivered by ONTRAC which Amazon no longer uses but that is another issue. I know this because I have 4K cameras everywhere that evidence whom is at fault. ONTRAC is the worst delivery service ever.

This bike lock comes with a portable u lock and a 120cm/4feet double looped steel cable. The diameter of the cable is 11mm/0.43inch(including PVC cover).

The u lock and bike lock cable can be used individually. Cable that included allows you to lock not only the frame, but also both wheels.
