Question:	how much of the bike to I need to disassemble to use this carrier? do I need to take pedals off too
Answer:	For Road Frames up to 60cm C-C, you will also have to loosen/remove the Handlebar Stem and Handlebar to fit and package them in foam cushioning so they do not damage the frame paint or scrape exposed bike parts. Wrapping all exposed and loose parts in foam is strongly suggested because if you don't , parts may get damaged during shipping and the frame paint may get scratched by the loose Wheel Axles and/or the loose Handlebar and attached Stem. Too bad better foam packaging recommendations are not suggested, not provided, nor mentioned in the XXF E0901 OEM Manual nor by the Amazon Sellers... The Amazon Sellers of this E0901 Case have not uploaded a copy of the Owners Manual.

Answer:	it was well over the limit required by united airlines bike policy of 62" total linear feet. I ended up paying the fee of 150.00. My bike traveled very well in the case. No issues. Also the mobility of moving the case thru the airport was great. And I am only 5' and 105 #. I would definitely recommend this case to buy. I also added some extra packing around the delicate areas of the bike too-just in case. Bubble wrap worked great w painters tape.

Answer:	I would definitely say no, 29 inch wheels do not fit in this case. I tried to do it every which way and simply could not do it. I cannot say this unequivocally because my case is about 20 years old. But mine looks exactly like the Round Trip case that is being sold here, and I doubt Thule has changed dimensions. But I can't be sure.

Answer:	I bought one and asked some people if they knew in specialized Enduro XL frame would fit and people said they would but it doesn't the rake extend out an extra 3 in but I don't know what it's going to be like for a cross-country. Also my specialized 2017 is boosted so it with a medium frame you should be okay

Answer:	Are you talking about handlebars or the top tube? You have to take your handlebars off at the stem. I have traditional road handlebars with drips, and clip-on aero bars attached. It all fits by just pulling the stem off your fork tube, and angling the entire cockpit assembly in such a way to close the case.

Answer:	The built-in locks are not TSA locks. You should leave the case unlocked during flight. If you want to have a TSA lock, buy one of the special wrap-around belts that has a TSA buckle on it. There is also no place on these latches to add a small TSA padlock, since they are low-profile, sliding design type.
Question:	Have they got around to fitting TSA locks onto this case
Answer:	The sliding latches on this case are lockable, but the key is not a TSA approved design. You would have to add a latch mechanism which could be locked with a readily available TSA lock. Or as an alternative, there are wrap around belts that have a TSA type code combination/key latch. Our velcro straps are only there to prevent the case from popping open when TSA is done inspecting it and doesn't properly close it up, since the bike no longer fits and they have no time to jiggle it around and make it fit.

Question:	MY frame is 19" or 20"will I have to remove the rear wheel
Answer:	On my bag, I removed both wheels and they fit in pockets along side the frame. I also removed the seat (with post) and turned the bars just to make the package more compact. I put stretch wrap around the chain.

Loading Steps:

1. Unzip the bicycle carry bag and spread it flat on the floor.

2. Remove the front wheel and handlebar and keep the handlebar vertical.

3. Lift the rear wheel into the carry bag and close to the sides.

4. Put the bicycle fork into the carry bag.

5. Half zip the carry bag and place the front wheel in the compartment.

6. Zip up and put the screws and other accessories into the external pocket. Some bicycles with longer frame may need to remove the rear wheel.

Answer:	For me the cover has been completely waterproof. My bike has sat outside 24/7 on a patio with the cover since May 10 th. The cover has been through rain and snow. Yes I did say snow. Last night there was a thunderstorm with hail. This morning I went outside lifted up the cover and the bike was dry. Even though the outer part of the cover is wet mainly on the sides near the bottom the cover underneath was completely dry. The material seems to repel the water . The top of the cover wasn’t wet , no pooling, just the sides of the cover still had some rain drops on. The bike does have a little protection from the roof overhang but the cover still gets rained on. I have been completely satisfied. I hope this helps.
