Just pull the heavy backing off the push pin front when you remove it, use the end of the heavy backing that looks like a standard screwdriver and turn the dials beside each number to the open position for you code - BE SURE to turn the dials to the new number in the ORDER you want your code to be and that is it. NOW MAKE SURE you test it by now pushing those four numbers that your new code and push the button down and make sure it pushes down before inserting it into the lockbox because if you accidently get it in the lockbox and it locks and your code was not now set correctly and you do not know the code you are SCREWED, you just as well throw the lockbox away because you will NEVER get into it. !!!!!!!!!! |

The Kryptonite New York Lock has an internal dimension for 4X8 where as ABUS is 4.25 X 9 which gives you just slightly more room in case you have a thick bike frame. I personally like the subdued colors of ABUS (vs the orange or yellow of Kryptonite, although it might make finding your bike easier). |
