Question:	How does the holder work? How easy to select the combination for open/close (do the dial rings move easy/smooth
Answer:	The holder works well but you may have to use another type of liner depending on the diameter of your top tube. Mine was too large for the provided liner and too small without so I had to"rig" it myself. That was really no problem in my opinion though. I have only set the combination once and have not had to reset it, but it works easily enough. Overall I am pleased with the setup and would recommend this product.

Question:	Why not just use a padlock with it
Answer:	As far as "easily cut", no, a good quality padlock can be much harder to cut than this cable. You COULD use a good padlock, but since this cable is meant as a supplementary lock for a wheel or accessories you are presumably already using a U-lock, so it's easiest to just loop through that than to carry a separate padlock + key.
Question:	How big are the loops? I'm wanting to use on kayaks by sliding them through scuppers. The scupper hole diameter is about 1 inch. Will they fit
Answer:	Probably going to have issues. The loops are big enough that you can feed them through each other. You might be able to get the loop through a 1 inch opening but its going to be difficult. This wire is pretty thick, you will likely be better off reducing the size of the wire for your purposes.
Question:	Can i use this with the Kryptonite New York Noose
Answer:	Sure. It is plenty long enough and the loop connects into the kryptonite disc lock easily. You would use the Kryptonite Noose around the frame, rear wheel and a post. The cable would be around the front wheel looped into itself and the the end loop would later be in the disc lock. Use the chain over the cable for locking up the rear wheel as the chain is much stronger.
Question:	Is this compatible with the Fahgettaboudit
Answer:	Yes it is, but. . . the heavy chain that most Fahgettaboudit locks come with would be much better. The Kryptoflex cable can be easily cut by any thief.

Answer:	The image we think you're referring to is actually the 4ft cable on a folding bike with 20 inch tires I believe.

Answer:	I don't know why the 4ft one is so much lighter but I can tell you that this one is heavier because it is very secure, flexible but at the same time you can tell that it would be tough to cut or break. As far as security, you will feel confident that it is really protecting your bike. If safety is your primary concern, don't think about the weight

Answer:	Type 1 and Type 2 have different design of the number dials, but their length, functions and using ways are the same, you could choose the most suitable one by your preference.

Answer:	Yes, the recoil action is very swift, and when the cable recoils, it snaps back hard. Getting hit with the lock end is not fun. The cable wants, forcefully, to stay coiled. Also, the cable twists, so aligning the combo end and the insert end takes determination. Using this cable lock around a typical pipe-type bike rack is okay, but not easy. Using a telephone pole or similar thing (tree trunk, e.g.) is a challenge, especially if you do not want to hug the pole. Finally, this: in dim light or darkness, the numbers are hard to read. You definitely need a flashlight, so a third hand/arm is helpful if you ride evenings and/or nights.

Answer:	I just wrap it several times around the center tube of the bike and then secure the lock. Works pretty good.
