Answer:	If you're going to be wearing these on any type of boots, we suggest 2XL. If you are planning on using them on just regular sneakers or casual shoes, the XL should work.

Answer:	I'm sure they could. I will tell you though that I am a school bus driver and we are required to wear grippers in the bus yard. I bought these and they didn't last me 2 months. I only used them to walk on the pavement into work and across the icy bus lot. I was sorely disappointed when the rubber shredded and they literally fell apart.

Answer:	That's my same situation. I walk to work and the first stretch from my house is facing North & the woods, gravel road, then a very icy set of a couple blocks also on the North. The rest is always mixed. Some parts are completely clear so I have to walk on concrete a while. Intersections are icy so I can't risk taking them off. 3 years ago I fell and broke my wrist when one of my Yaktax broke and the coils got stuck on the gravel. The coil ones were the first kind I ever used and they wrre life savers. Needed to get a couple of pairs to make through the winter because they deteriorated quickly walking on sections of concrete. tried the cleat type and they were useless ad dulled quickly. This diamond grip are the best. Only one pair per winter. I replaced last year's because the rubber frame started to look a bit weak on some joints. They are good to be worn around the house while shoveling but not for a long walk. The new ones should make ot through the whole winter even with all the walking I do. I do not remove them from my boots to try to extend the life of the rubber. I change shoes when I get to work and put them upside down so they dry well. They can rust easily if you leave them wet on the ground.

Answer:	I was skeptical as well, but I bought them because they were my only option locally. I was happy to find that they work on any ice, period. I wear them ice fishing, which features a 1 mile walk pulling a 60 pound sled across various types of ice to get to a good spot. Keep in mind that these aren't glue, though. I can run on the ice with them, but it's still possible to slip - especially in ~3" of new snow on ice. The snow is just deep enough to fill the cleats, then you've got snow on ice.

Answer:	Yes, I recommend it for any age. Just make sure to REMOVE them when you go inside or on a clear surface, as they will be slippery on normal surfaces. ONLY for use in snow/ice.

Answer:	I wear a Women's size 8. The manufacturer sizing information on the box, says for U.S. Women's Size 8, get a SMALL YakTrax. I have KEEN winter boots,size 8 medium. Keen's winter boot have a substantial heavy sole. There is no way that I can stretch the YakTrax Size S onto the KEEN boots. A medium would fit (but I haven't tried yet). The YakTrax SMALL just barely fits over a pair of "fashionable" winter boots, size 8, that have a dainty-sized,or thin sole. I suggest that you take your boots into a store and fit the YakTrax on before purchasing. If the stretch is too tight, you'll know right away (it'll strip off your nail polish and split a nail or two attempting). Be careful during the stretch 'cause it's like a sling shot! It can take an eye out! :) You want a YakTrax size that's easy enough to take off when you go indoors because on stone floors, these are slippery and on carpet, they will rip up the carpet. The manufacturer sizing information is misleading.

Answer:	They come with 2 spare spikes in the package. I haven't had to look for new ones. I don't really know. I would assume amazon.

Answer:	These have a really good grip to them and is perfect for any situation. I work on an ice show and are required to walk/run on ice/concrete 40 hours a week and these are great. Had them 6montha no issues.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it. They could get tangled up in the pedals--gas, brake, clutch if you have a standard transmission, if you had to do something suddenly.

Question:	Can you walk on cement floors while wearing them
Answer:	You can, but I would not recommend it for a couple of reasons. First, they are designed for snow and ice, surfaces that will give the cleats something to bite into without dulling or bending the points. A hard surface like cement will likely damage the points. Second, and more importantly, you would be walking on a hard smooth surface with 13 very hard, very small points per cleat in contact with that surface; this is a slipping disaster waiting to happen. That being said, I have worn them across a cement surface for 5 or 6 feet but very gingerly - you can definitely feel how unstable they are. This goes for any of the cleat style crampons.
