Answer:	Mine didn’t leak at all after I put a silicone waterproofing spray on it. I coated all of the tent and rain fly 3 times. Letting the chemical dry each time before reapplying. We weren’t in any nasty conditions, but it did rain all day for two days with a light drizzle on the 3rd day. For the money, I’d buy this tent again for sure. Just make sure you set it up carefully so you don’t break the poles or tear the fabric, as other reviewers have had that problem. I have used it several trips without problems.
Question:	Is there room for a cot inside this tent
Answer:	The tent fits a sleeping bag, so I would imagine that a small cot would fit in there. Its a great little tent!

Answer:	While I have used this tent with a queen sized air mattress, it didn't really work. You cant zip the door shut along the bottom, and it takes up all of the floor space. If you are fine with that, then go for it.

Answer:	Yes, it is. Actually I didn't have problem during TSA and I traveled with this tent under my seat.

Answer:	A full sized American pickup truck, GMC Chevy, Dodge Ram, and Ford/Lincoln all have 48" between the wheel wells. A long bed, or full size bed, will measure 4' between the wheel wells X 8' in length. If you have the luxury of driving a truck right up to where you're setting up camp: sleep in the truck. Sleep in the cab. Get a camper shell. Get a tonneau cover, and sleep under the tonneau. Use the stake pockets on your bed rails, and improvise shelter with a tarp. Do I need to point out that since you have the luxury of a truck, by all means do not sleep on the ground?

Answer:	Like with any tent it's easier to put up with another person but if you already know how to set up a sent and read the instructions it shouldn't be to difficult to set up since it took me at most 20mins to put together with no knowledge on tents to begin with and taking down was pretty easy and didn't have may problems at all.

Answer:	If you don't expand the bag, the tent packed inside the bag is 47" x 10" x 9"

Answer:	If you were to keep the zipper windows closed you would have a sauna. The tent is not torrential rain proof, but it is waterproof and that goes for inside as well as out.

Answer:	The tent has an integrated rain fly. There's a video on the Coleman site that shows it performing. For me though, I'd buy the optional rain fly accessory for added protection and ventilation.

Question:	Does it have a lifetime warranty like Coleman tents
Answer:	Honestly not sure on the warranty but as of now, it has outlasted any of my Coleman or ozark trails tents. We go camping a lot and I mean a lot and we have spent at least a half dozen good size storms in this tent with no water leaking in anywhere. My last tent was a Coleman and by the end of that summer,it was leaking in around the seems and would have water standing in the corners. I have a friend who also has this same tent and has no complaints with it.

Answer:	I never received it. Ordered twice and both times received a tote bag instead of tent tarp.

Answer:	I don't it's "waterproof" not but the weave is extremely tight like tent fabric. Ours hasn't been exposed to rain but I would imagine that it would likely shed water pretty well and be o.k. if you are using it as a rain fly/canopy for a tent or something like that. Ours is very nice quality and for the price point you could make it water proof by getting a can of the water repellent spray for tents & fabrics.

Answer:	Yes, very waterproof. My husband used it to go deer hunting in a downpour, so it was a good test of the waterproofing. He discovered it is a summer tent, with great ventilation, which he didn't want in a winter storm. It was barely large enough for him or two smaller children. It sets up easily too.

Answer:	I live in an arid region in the Caribbean and I ordered this tent in 2016, 4 years ago. I just opened it again last night for the first time in years and set it up in my lockdown back garden which is on the ground (more like sand here on the equator) to have a spontaneous outside camping night. Well next to being virtually in a new bought state with no discoloration, or time induced damage the tent was virtually dustless .. I can know as I have severe allergies and hayfever. I swear it also rooted the weeds that were growing and sweeped the back porch clean of dust&sand too. exiting the tent I felt like I freshly showered and my clothes were folded too! Highly recommended

Answer:	It took my wife and I less then 1/2 hour to set it but longer to get it finally done maybe 15 minutes.

Answer:	I compared specs on the Coleman website. The only difference is floor vents for ventilation, auto-roll windows, and led lighting. They are the same height in the center by the way, 6ft 2in.

Answer:	Hi, To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. We put it up in the back yard to test as is, and it could not handle light rain. We have another Coleman with a steeper slope, and so the water flows off the rain-fly before it can wick through the material (It stood up to a downpour last night). Any of these tents where you have a flat rain-fly above a screen, I believe you will have this problem. I suppose you could spray the entire rainfly with the waterproofing spray recommended for the seams? I'm not sure how much this would cost though.We are likely to go for the Coleman Evanston 8 (non-screen porch version). The only part of the rainfly that is flat is the front overhang above the ground. There is a good 3-star review under the Coleman Evanston 8 by Jeff042479 which describes the waterproofing process for these Coleman tents.Hope that helps. Good luck.

Answer:	I have this tent and can verify that it works well in Montana (where I live). I have never camped in Ohio but if you make sure the door is facing north towards MT, you should be fine. 😉

Answer:	"Hard" is a relative term. It's possible but would be easier with two. Most tents are much easier with two.

Answer:	You need to use a footprint (tarp) and trench around the tent. You should also set the tent up before using it in the field and use seam sealer on it. Follow the directions on the bottle. Some tents even come with a small bottles of it but its not expensive. This advice goes with just about every tent made of nylon.

Answer:	I will answer that. I have not purchased this tent, but I can see that the room divider is across the 14 ft side, thus creating two 7' x 10' rooms. Since your question is about the maximum number, we assume you are placing the mattress head on the 10' wall. (10' = 120 inches) Twin Bed, 38 in. wide, you can fit 3 twin mattresses, (b/c 3 x 38 inch is 6 inches short of 120 inches) Full/Double Bed, 54 in. wide, you can fit 3 mattresses, because 2 x 54 in. is 108 inches, with 12 inches left. Queen Bed is 60 inches, so obviously two just fit inside 120 inches.

Question:	Is this easy to set up? How does it compare to an instant tent in terms of set up time
Answer:	Hi - I purchased this tent a few weeks back and was thinking it was an "instant tent". I was disappointed when I saw the poles :-) WE had an instant tent and LOVED it! It literally takes 2-3 min to set up. This tent (with poles) was pretty easy in terms of a pole-d tent...but you NEED to stake the opposite side in order to push against it to connect the poles. If you haven't made the purchase yet I do highly recommend spending the extra $75 for the Instant tent. I was thinking as I was pushing the poles through how I would hate doing this if it were dark or raining. One further note - after being in the elements for a while, the Instant tent pole connectors do rust a bit and that can cause the "tabs" to be difficult to snap into place. So THIS non-instant tent would actually last longer as you don't need to worry about those snaps. So - bottom line - if you have the extra $75 to spend and don't mind replacing the tent in about 4-5 years....then go Instant. If you don't mind spend about 20 mins and having some help and want to save the money - this IS a great tent.

Answer:	It does but it's only good for short storms. It even handled some light hail one day. We did on the other hand, used it during an all day rain event and we got very wet inside. It can leak from my experience. It is a nice and roomy tent but I recommend using some waterproof sealer on the rain fly.Chris

Answer:	as a matter of fact, it has a bathtub bottom floor. That means, the seams are not on the ground where moisture could possible get in.

Answer:	Yes, the screens can be zipped up like the other windows in the tent, to stop rain or to allow people to sleep in that area too.

Question:	What are the weight and folded dimensions of the Deluxe XL with the extendable flap
Answer:	I’m in Wells ME beach right now. At 7 am there wasn’t any wind, so I stretched it out and it worked well. It’s now just afternoon and the wind is blowing 20ish. Stretched out the poles, repositioned the poles and it works great. It has to be tight to work.
Question:	Does it offer any UV protection
Answer:	You would need about another 2-3 feet of space. We generally get to the beach early so we are set up before it gets crowded.
Question:	Is it easy to move it if needed, once set up
Answer:	the large tent will accomodate chairs, certainly the low beach chair type, but even a camp chair if positioned at the highest point. it depends a lot on whether the wind is blowing: the tent acts a little like a sail. The more wind, the more room underneath! but be sure to stake it down with some good sand stakes )not included)
