Answer:	Yes, very waterproof. My husband used it to go deer hunting in a downpour, so it was a good test of the waterproofing. He discovered it is a summer tent, with great ventilation, which he didn't want in a winter storm. It was barely large enough for him or two smaller children. It sets up easily too.

Answer:	I live in an arid region in the Caribbean and I ordered this tent in 2016, 4 years ago. I just opened it again last night for the first time in years and set it up in my lockdown back garden which is on the ground (more like sand here on the equator) to have a spontaneous outside camping night. Well next to being virtually in a new bought state with no discoloration, or time induced damage the tent was virtually dustless .. I can know as I have severe allergies and hayfever. I swear it also rooted the weeds that were growing and sweeped the back porch clean of dust&sand too. exiting the tent I felt like I freshly showered and my clothes were folded too! Answer:	Im not sure I understand the question but I will try to answer it anyway. The tent has a channel(fabric) that runs from the door switch to the light in the top middle of the tent. It also has a channel that goes down the back of the tent that has the cord that goes to the battery.

Answer:	I think it would fit 4 small cots around the edges and still be able to walk in the center. Base is 14x10 so measure your cots to know for sure. I had a huge cot, table, large ice chest and food and clothing bins for 30 days of geologic field work and there was room left over. Tent worked out great and stood up to abusive wind and rain.

Answer:	I would have to say that it is much easier with 2 people, but I have set it up by myself. It takes about 10 minutes to set up with 2 people and it took 30 minutes by myself.

Answer:	I am a little over 6 feet and weigh around 250. I have put a queen sized air mattress in this tent with a foot or two of floor room on two sides of the mattress. Can 4 average humans sleep in this tent? If they like each other a whole lot. For me, its me +1. I would think 2 adults and 2 rug rats would be tight, but manageable. Its a very good tent for the $. The rain fly vestibule keeps lots of gear dry. You need to crouch down to get in and out.

Answer:	If you don't expand the bag, the tent packed inside the bag is 47" x 10" x 9"

Answer:	If you were to keep the zipper windows closed you would have a sauna. The tent is not torrential rain proof, but it is waterproof and that goes for inside as well as out.

Answer:	We’re using it for camping/sleeping. Haven’t used it in the rain. The fly seems sufficient.

Answer:	The tent does not come with a separate tarp to protect the bottom of the tent. Such tarps are readily available and inexpensive. It needs to be no bigger than the bottom of the tent.

Answer:	Just set it up for the first time this weekend. It was the oddest thing I've ever seen! The floor is a "bathtub" floor, BUT YES there is a strip of mesh that runs along the bottom. No earthly clue why. So if water gets between the footprint and tent, yes, there will be water. Maybe I'll send Coleman a question because I can't figure out why they'd do that. But, having said that, still an absolute awesome tent! I think you'd have to be in seriously flooded area for the strip of mesh to negatively affect the tent. Still highly recommend!

Answer:	Hi! The screen room does have a floor- same type of plastic floor as the main portion of the tent. The windows on the inside of the tent have zip up flats, but the screened in portion at the apex of the tent does not. That is covered only by the rain fly.
Question:	With the back being 80% screened, does this make it too cold inside for kids (just in regards to regular cold mountain mornings--not winter camping
Answer:	We went camping in this tent in mid-September at approx 12,000 ft above sea-level in Colorado and yes, not having a permanent cover over the back of the screened portion made it very cold. We ended up having to cover the back screen wall with moving blankets we had in the back of our car. This is just a one season tent for high altitudes, summer.
Question:	If i was going to lay a tarp down first before setting the tent up(so nothing pokes through bottom), how big of a tarp would i need
Answer:	we have a 16x20 ft tarp that we slightly fold over about 2 ft. that gives us about 3 ft in front of the tent as an entrance outside of the screened in area. you definitely need a large tarp for this tent even though it may look ridiculous when you fold it out :)

Answer:	Sleeping area is approximately square - about 10X10. The porch is about 4 ft deep and 10 ft wide on the sleeping area side, but the front porch corners are angled, so the front width of the porch is only about 9 ft.

Answer:	Mattress top is waterproof and won't affect the sides

Answer:	They are made of two types of fabric. I would say you could wipe down the middle plastic-like panel but would not suggest the cloth-like elastic panels on the sides. These are very durable so if you bought a few sets perhaps you could just apply a new cover for each client and launder them at the end of the day. I use them because of potty training and they hold up very well to being washed. Past options I have tried were more plastic all over and were easy to wipe down but ripped all too often. Answer:	According to the description, the 17x9 dimension is for the tent sleeping area, which would not include the porch. It says that the screened porch is additional, which would mean that it is not included in the 17 x 9 dimension given
Question:	How long does it take to set up
Answer:	The first time it took about 30 stressful minutes. I did it by myself so it would take a lot less time with 2 people. I can now set it up by myself in about 10 minutes. It's super easy. Make sure you follow the instructions as they are color coded. It's a great tent especially the door. The only negative is the screened in area is kinda small and does not have a floor. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Answer:	Yes, it comes with everything you need to set it up. The only thing I would suggest is to buy some seam sealer and go around the seams to prevent water leaks. But it includes the rainfly, stakes, directions, etc. I love our tent, I hope you do too!

Answer:	No. They are not designed that way, the corners are too sharp and they don't come in reverse zippered pairs. However, if you are not overly large people, one bag should be big enough for both of you! These bags are big and warm and inexpensive.

Answer:	The bag is pretty large so I wouldn't recommend doing it in a home washing machine, however, a laundromat machine should be big enough. Its a pretty solid bag, too, but over washing can damage any bag. I'd recommend one washing at the end of the season unless it gets exceptionally dirty. Make sure you use a tech wash detergent - Nik Wax Down detergent works for synthetics and down.

Answer:	THIS IS NOT A BACKPACKING BAG!!! I bought it for backpacking, and it will never, ever work for that, unless you have lots of space to spare. I kept it to use as a two-person sleeping bag for regular trips. I carefully rolled it as small as it will go and put it in the stuff sack before measuring it for you: 1'7" tall, and 1' diameter. That's 19" tall and 12" diameter. In metric, that's about 48.25cm tall and 30.48cm diameter. If these numbers seem big, that's because they are.

Answer:	While it doesn't actually hit 120F in Florida, the heat index the last time I went camping was at least 105F. I use a heavyduty tarp that is grey on one side and silver on the other; silver side up and we were quite comfortable. Nights were cool (relatively, temp was about 80) which certainly helped as did the shade from the trees but I think you'll benefit from a bigger, denser, darker colored tarpaulin rather than the rainfly for maximum shade/cooling benefit.
