I swear it also rooted the weeds that were growing and sweeped the back porch clean of dust&sand too. exiting the tent I felt like I freshly showered and my clothes were folded too! | Answer: | Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, we've never offered a metal stake driving plate with our tent. However, you can use one of the included Y-stakes to do the same thing. Simply hold one of the Y-stakes perpendicular to the stake that you're driving to the ground (ie. side to side with two hands), set the top of the stake into middle of one of the Y channels on the stake between your hands, and push down driving the stake into the ground. We found this to be great way to push the stake into the ground if using your hands or boot is too difficult. It also replicates the same functionality of the metal driving plate without having to bring any extra pieces with you. It's a little oversized in order to make it easier to fit the tent without folding it perfectly. As a result, it will actually compress to a slightly smaller size once inside your pack. | Answer: | I am a little over 6 feet and weigh around 250. I have put a queen sized air mattress in this tent with a foot or two of floor room on two sides of the mattress. Can 4 average humans sleep in this tent? If they like each other a whole lot. For me, its me +1. I would think 2 adults and 2 rug rats would be tight, but manageable. Its a very good tent for the $. The rain fly vestibule keeps lots of gear dry. You need to crouch down to get in and out. |
