| Answer: | This canopy is water resistant in that it repels water and it can withstand rain and exposure to water and still function. You can also clean the top with soap and water. There is not a rainfly for this product. We use the term water resistant instead of waterproof because it's technically accurate. To call a fabric waterproof, I would expect to see a waterproof rating in a hydrostatic pressure test or static column test. This measures a material's resistance to water pressure before leaking, and there are generally accepted performance ratings to actually call a fabric waterproof. If someone is using the term waterproof I would ask for that rating. It is a pop up changing room so you can take it down quickly in big storms, which is highly recommended.
