13 best snugpak dry sacks
Snugpak dry sacks are outdoor gear accessories designed to keep your gear and belongings dry in wet or damp conditions, particularly during camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. They are related to camping and outdoor recreation and are often used in conjunction with blankets, sleeping bags, and other camp bedding. Here's what you need to know about Snugpak dry sacks:
Waterproof Design: Snugpak dry sacks are made from waterproof materials, typically utilizing nylon or similar fabrics with waterproof coatings. The primary purpose of these sacks is to create a waterproof barrier to protect your gear from rain, splashes, or immersion in water.
Closure Mechanism: These dry sacks feature a roll-top closure system. You place your gear inside the sack, roll the top down several times, and secure it with a buckle or clip. This creates a tight seal that prevents water from entering the sack.
Sizes and Capacities: Snugpak offers dry sacks in various sizes and capacities to accommodate different types of gear. Smaller sacks are suitable for items like clothing or electronics, while larger ones can hold bulkier items such as sleeping bags or blankets.
Color Coding: Some Snugpak dry sacks are color-coded or have clear windows, making it easier to identify the contents without having to open each sack.
Compression Sacks: Snugpak also manufactures compression dry sacks. These sacks not only keep your gear dry but also allow you to compress it, reducing its volume. This is especially useful for sleeping bags and clothing, as it saves space in your backpack.
Durable Construction: Snugpak dry sacks are built to withstand the rigors of outdoor use. They are often made with reinforced seams and durable materials to prevent tears and damage.
Versatility: These dry sacks are versatile and can be used in various outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, kayaking, and more. They are especially useful in wet environments where keeping your gear dry is a top priority.
Organization: Dry sacks help with organization by separating your gear into different categories or by keeping wet and dry items separate within your backpack.
Emergency Use: In addition to regular outdoor activities, dry sacks can be essential in emergency situations. They can help protect critical items like first aid supplies, clothing, and food from getting wet during unexpected rain or water crossings.
Maintenance: Proper care and maintenance involve periodically checking for any wear and tear, cleaning the sacks, and ensuring that the waterproof coatings remain effective.
In summary, Snugpak dry sacks are reliable accessories for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, hikers, and adventurers who want to keep their gear dry and organized in wet or damp conditions. They are available in various sizes and are designed to protect your gear from water while being durable and easy to use. These sacks are a valuable addition to any outdoor gear collection, ensuring that your equipment remains dry and functional during your adventures.

User questions & answers
Question: | How well does the xxl fit an army issue duffle (the sea bag style, not the new zip one |
Answer: | Whew...man, never seen so many unhelpful responses. Though I suppose at least people are somewhat trying in their own way. Anywho, unless your 'used' variation shows as anything but 'like new,' I would avoid it. 'Very good' used condition is sometimes viable, but when the dollar signs are getting this big already anyway, usually you won't save enough from buying used to make it worthwhile. So based on my experience over the last decade having bought hundreds of Amazon products - some used, in general I would advise: Only try used if it lists as 'like new.' And that's only if you are saving a decent amount in the difference between truly new and 'like new.' I realize this response isn't as helpful as it could be, but at least it hopefully answers your question and doesn't otherwise avoid it, or seem to be answering a completely different question altogether. |

Answer: | 6-12 months |

Question: | Where are these made |
Answer: | I don't own a Elite 5, but I do own a Endurance 40, and I use the large as a pack liner. So as a guess, I would say the large. |
Question: | Where is this bag produced |
Answer: | I would get him the 12 can version. I believe 24 would be kind of big. |
Question: | Left hand zip or right side |
Answer: | The strap is long enough to wear over shoulder. It is also adjustable. I wish I had taken the advice from the comments. I had read the zipper was no good but couldn't imagine that would be the case. The zipper is already broken and I only bought it a few months ago. I would not purchase this cooler again. |
Question: | Does this sleeping bag come with a compression sack |
Answer: | Vince, when you say "Inside dimensions are 7 1/2" Length, 9 1/2" Width and 7 1/2" height. " are you referring to the 24-can model or the 12-can model? Seller: this question is about the INSIDE dimensions. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the pack size of this tent? This is for my kayak |
Answer: | Yes it is! My fiance purchased this to take on a trip with his brother. My fiance was dry the entire time. His brother was not. :-( |
Question: | im 6'1 and have really broad sholders, will this fir me and how much does this tent weigh |
Answer: | It totally depends on your sleeping gear. How the tent would handle the condensation at that temperature I couldn't guess, but I wouldn't even try it. |
Question: | I don't see a vent, does condensation build up with the rainfly fully closed |
Answer: | It is. Used it in the field during a heavy rainstorm and everything inside stayed dry. |
Question: | I'm considering this tent. I'm 5' 4" tall, will I have enough room in the tent for my pack |
Answer: | Yes, there is enough room for you and your backpack. My only problem I had when purchasing the Geertop tent was they had a hunter green color tent that was listed for sale. I purchase the tent mainly because it was the color I liked, but when the tent arrived by mail. In fact it was not hunter green, the color was light grey and lime green! Make sure you send the seller an e-mail making sure the color is correct. |
