Answer:	This is 100 ft of SurvivorCord. As mentioned previously, the image your referring to is just showing what you get out of a simple 10 ft section.

Answer:	The waxed jute fiber in our SurvivorCord is lightly impregnated with paraffin wax, and so far has proven completely water-proof in all of our internal testing.

Answer:	The Hank I received was copper. This stuff is great. I have replaced all my boot laces with this and it works great. I have stripped the copper wire out and made snares that work great. You need to double the wire but that is not an issue.

Question:	How stiff is this cord compared to other cord, does it tie well and hold a knot/s well
Answer:	The cord is very much like regular paracord in most respects. It is just a tiny bit larger and stiffer. However it doesn't hamper tying knots although they may not snug down quit as well. The differences though are not enough to hamper its use and I enjoy having the additional survival items "built in" the XT cord.
Question:	I usually melt cut ends using my heat gun or a lighter, but with the jute is this safe? or do you suggest a better method
Answer:	SurvivorCord is sealed just like any other paracord. Just cut your SurvivorCord XT to the desired length, and seal the ends with a lighter. Some people worry that the waxed jute will continue to burn like a fuse...this is not the case. The waxed jute will snuff out and melt into the ends, just like the nylon threads.
Question:	Is this only available in black? I’d prefer a more survival orientated high visibility orange or even relative color
Answer:	We currently only offer our SurvivorCord XT parachute cord in Black, but we are planning to offer more colors and lengths in the first quarter of 2020.

Answer:	Currently made in China because US manufacturers couldn't meet our volume and quality requirements. We are working on qualifying US manufacturers...but they have been extremely slow in responding.

Answer:	I've not had to use this cord in an application with prolonged constant exposure to the elements. As it is Nylon, I can guess that it's water resistance would be good for years but I cannot attest to the UV resistance and resultant strength retention/reduction over time. On a separate note, the cord stretches under load when wet so depending on what you are hanging/tying and how, it may droop or come loose.

Answer:	Yes I have tested the fire cord extensively and found you can submerge the cord up to two hours before it will not light. I have also packed seven hours in the rain with the cord exposed to the elements the entire time and was able to separate and fire cord lit with minimal strikes from a fire starter.

Answer:	the cord is made of high-strength materials, ensuring the breaking strength 550 lb ±10%

Answer:	Rope is same thickness as 550 cord and can be used the same way. However, I would not count on it to be the same strength since inner strands are made up of different materials. I like this for a survivalist application not as a load bearing one.

Question:	Could this product be used in a quick deploy item
Answer:	Hey Michael, thanks for asking. Yes, this product is just like any other paracord or utility rope and can be used in quick-deploy items. From the outside it looks and feels just like paracord, but has the extra strands on the inside.
Question:	What is it made of - Nylon
Answer:	Yes. Per the government's MIL-C-5040H standard, all of our paracord is made from pre-shrunk MIL-SPEC Nylon, as opposed to commercial polyester.
Question:	Do you have to destroy the cord to remove the survival strands or can they be pulled out easily
Answer:	It depends on how long a strand you need, but either way you're destroying at least some of it as you 1) need to cut a piece to length (no, you cannot extract a single filament the full 50' or 109' length of the cord,) and 2) even if it's a short segment, you can pull out a single filament, but then the rest of the cord is weaker than it originally was, therefore it is "destroyed" to some extent anyway. Can you still use the remaining length of seemingly intact cord? Probably as a belt or shoelaces. But in terms of it's original strength, yes, it is not the same as you started out with...
Question:	Is the company going out of business or are you about to offer new cord? What happened to your stock of different colors and prices
Answer:	I apologize for the stock-out. The pandemic has caused a mad rush on all of our products over the past few weeks and we have sold out very quickly relative to our original Q1 inventory planning that we did in October of last year.
