Question:	What is inside the warmer that makes the old used different than a new one? Can you DIY fix it somehow
Answer:	By looking at the picture of the new one, it hasn't changed much, but looks as if it will breathe a bit better at the top.The old ones were more stuffed at the top. DIY fixing is spotty. I use mine (2 of them) like crazy in the cold, and I go through the "filaments" once a year. There is a noticeable difference between new ones and old ones. It's not that the old (used) ones won't work at all, just poorly.
Question:	What's the difference between this and the older version
Answer:	Hi Joe! Thanks for your question. The only difference is the packaging. The older version was packaged in a plastic clamshell packaging, and the new version is packaged in a much slimmer plastic packaging inside a box, which looks much more presentable. The warmer itself and the accessories are still exactly the same. Both older versions and the new version are 12-hour, and there is now also a new smaller version that works for 6 hours.
Question:	I may sound like an idiot, but how do you use it? It seems like an open flame would burn you
Answer:	I bought several of these for family members. My husband uses his often and really likes it. There is no flame because the warmer uses a catalytic burner (no flame). If you over fill the warmer it will have a small flame until the excess lighter fluid is burned off. It also takes longer to ignite it the first time you use it. Use the plastic measuring container that is included, do not over fill it, and do not spill the lighter fluid on the outside of the warmer. If you do sill any lighter fluid it will evaporate quickly. My husband keeps his in his pocket all day and sometimes into the evening, at least 8 to 10 hours, and it is a low heat and never burns or causes any concern for him.
Question:	So, if you keep it in your pocket and it lays flat, will it catch on fire
Answer:	No, there is a fiber type material that soaks up the lighter fluid...you light the filament and it burns from the fumes. I've put mine in my coat pocket "upside" down with no problems at all.

Answer:	I purchased a spare replaceable catalyst the same time I ordered the Giant Size Peacock hand warmer. At the time, there was only one catalyst in stock. I have not checked since my purchase of both items. On a side note: I'm extremely happy with mine. It works great and is far superior to everything else I've tried. It is quite large and produces lots of heat for many hours if fully fueled, so the smaller one might be more suitable for people who don't need to walk around all day with a gas fired furnace in their pocket. A spare catalyst is a must. Grease, oil, or dirt will severely shorten the catalyst's life or destroy it immediately.

Answer:	I don't think it will fit inside your gloves. It is not unpredictable either. You fill it with zippo fluid and light it. There is no flame present but it is burning. Since there is fluid in it, you would not want to tip it over and let any fuel leak out. It works great in a coat pocket or in pants pocket while standing.

Question:	I can't seem to get mine going.I filled it with 2 funnels of zippo fuel before 1st try as per instructions--only mildly warm for about 3 hrs
Answer:	You WAY over filled it. It's flooded. I suggest you leave the top and burner cap off for a day or so and let some of the fuel evaporate. Then try lighting it, keep it in the bag with the bag loose and let it go till it runs out. Mine goes about 5 hours if I fill the filling cup about half way. A full dose should go 10-12 hrs.

Answer:	I don't believe that the length of "warm-time" is dependent on the outside temp. You would probably find the heat generated to be too warn in 50 degree temps as opposed to 32 degree temps. However, that is a personal thing, and not really answerable except maybe by Zippo.

Answer:	If it is not charged by now you definitely have a faulty one. It only took about an hour and a half to fully charge.
Question:	Are the batteries replaceable when the time comes that they stop taking a charge
Answer:	The batteries are 5200 mAh lithium-ion batteries, and have an almost unlimited amount of times they can be recharged. A charger cable is included with the hand warmer. You can buy (for a small amount of money) adapters for the wall socket that will let you recharge the batteries more easily (everyone sells them - got mine at the Target Store). I am seriously enjoying my hard warmers. I am a runner, and ran in 21 degree temperature this past Sunday morning (for one hour). I wore glove liners, and mittens. I held my hand warmers between my glove liners and mittens. Do not worry about new batteries, you won't need to put new batteries in these hand warmers.

Answer:	Typically vacuums don't have the capability to deep cleaner carpets with hot water. It depends on the machine that you have. If your machine has a separate water tank that actually cleans the carpet, and it also has another tank to collect dirty water - then you can definitely use this cleaner. Otherwise I would recommend looking into a Hoover or a Bissell carpet cleaning machines - they are very good.
