| Answer: | They say in instructions to wash by hand with warm or cold water and gentle soap. I have done this and finished two different ways. If I'm going to use it again in a day or two or so, after rinsing thoroughly, I wring it out pretty good, re-fold it and place it back in the plastic container they ship it in. I has not gotten moldy or smelly yet, and is ready to use. if i am not going to use it for a week or more, same procedure but instead re-folding it and putting it away, I let it air dry flat. The net day it is stiff as a piece of cardboard. When ready to use again, just soak it and wring and re-fold it and stow it as before. It works very well to my mind. |

| Answer: | No, there is no strong odor. There is a bit of a smell initially, but once you wash them it goes away. This is a wonderful product! I soak the towel in water and wear one around my neck when I am out on my UTV in 110+ degree heat. It keeps my neck cool, I rotate the towel and due to evaporation there is always a cold side and I am able to tolerate the high temps. I am not sure how it works, but it works! |
