Answer:	If this is a concern you might consider the Phillips Hue system. Phillips sells switches and dimmers that are aware of the system and can be used to manually switch off the light while allowing the smart system to turn it back on. Of course if you turn it off with the wall switch it's still rendered offline to the system. With basic electrical knowledge you can remove the wall switch and cap off the wires then cover it with a plate. Conveniently the Phillips dimmer switches will fit in a standard wall outlet, though you still have to cap the wires. The trade-off for the Phillips system of course is that it requires the Phillips hub.

Answer:	Go with the warranty. That tells you how strongly the manufacturer believes in the product and how long they expect it to last. Really... if every bulb lasted 15 years, they would give it a 10-15 year warranty as an advertising gimmick. They DON'T DO THAT because they don't really expect them to last that long.

Answer:	PLEASE DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE A LIGHT FIXTURE WITH MORE THAN 1 LIGHT. Before you even make it to the Alexa stage of this process you will be disappointed. Yes you can group separate single lights fixtures in what they call a "Scene" but that's a grouping of single light fixtures. I have a fixture with 2 lights in it. I am only able to get 1 to work. if the left light works the right light does not and Vice versa. I figured this was just a 1 off issue with my fixture and bulbs so I used 2 new bulbs on another fixture with 2 bulbs and had the exact same problem. I called customer support and they said that you can NOT have more than 1 of these lights in the same fixture. Again, this was from customer support! If you don't believe me call customer support before you purchase i'm sure they will have the same answer. What I don't understand is that some people say they have a fixture with multiple bulbs working...

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it unless the manufacturer confirms that the pump has an internal pressure relief arrangement. It looks to be a diaphragm type positive displacement pump, similar to an aquarium air pump, working via a solenoid-operated piston moving a diaphragm back and forth. The diaphragm forms part of a chamber, which increases and decreases in size as the piston moves. There would be a non-return valve (probably a spring-assisted ball check valve) on both the chamber inlet and the chamber outlet. The diaphragm pump design allows complete separation of the working machinery from the pumped fluid, and they are generally designed so that the process fluid (water in this case) is not necessary for bearing lubrication or motor cooling. Being a positive displacement pump, it would move the same amount of water regardless of the back pressure it is pumping against. This means that if the pump is running and the hose outlet is closed with a valve on the shower head, the water still has to go somewhere, so the weakest point will fail (leak), e.g. the sealing gasket, the hose, or the pump diaphragm. If the weakest point happened to be the shower head immediately upstream of the valve, shrapnel from the resultant explosion, or being struck by the flailing hose, particularly if fitted with a metal ferrule or fitting, could cause a serious injury.The manufacturer would have assumed that the switch on the pump would be within reach during use, since the hose to the shower head is only 6.5' long. Incorporating a switch on the shower head would add significant cost, utility, and reliability issues to the product. It would require an electrical switch, an electrical cable along the length of the hose, which would be stiffened by the armour required to protect the cable from mechanical damage, and two cable glands (seals): one in the pump housing, and one in the shower head.

Answer:	I think it's about 7 feet, which was perfect for putting the pump part into a water bucket and hanging the showerhead above us in the shower tent. It's simplicity is what makes it so efficient for us.
Question:	How long of a shower can get with (in minutes) from a 5 gallon bucket of water
Answer:	I hope the battery power gets weaker slowing down the run time of 5 gallons. I did several bench tests to see how quickly it drains a quart, starting with a full battery. After several times, it came to an average time of 16.5 seconds per quart. With a 5 gallon bucket at that rate it will only last 330 seconds (5 mins and 30 seconds). I plan to shut it on/off as needed.
