Question:	If camping and using water from a lake etc recommend putting a water purifier tablet inside
Answer:	I took off the caps on both ends and I hung it by its handle and let all the water collect down to the bottom and shook it out as much as possible. Then I just tried to pull out the sides to help the rest of the water come out and left it that way for a day or two. I found by feeding the tube in the bag it helped keep it from flattening out all the way. All said and done it took two or three days for it to completely dry out.

Question:	What is the purpose of the white plastic pipe
Answer:	The hose length is appx 15". Really too short to be practical because to use it, it has to be raised properly to stand under it. The one I got is totally useless, I got it as an "after Beach " dog rinse-off. The temperature doesn't work, nor does the solar heating work. It is just a bag of water with a spout.....think twice when buying.

Answer:	The flow rate is controlled by the head/nozzle. All the way out is "high", and not so far is slower. So, you have some control, but it's not precise. Note: this gets the water warm enough for a shower, but not "super hot" for sanitizing. (Of course out in the desert it may get hotter.)
Question:	How well will this work in cool to cold climates
Answer:	If there is strong sun not that long. It will get so hot that you almost have to be careful. In the colorado desert we left it out in the sun and the water was still plenty warm in the morning. I generally hang it from a strong tree branch.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it unless the manufacturer confirms that the pump has an internal pressure relief arrangement. It looks to be a diaphragm type positive displacement pump, similar to an aquarium air pump, working via a solenoid-operated piston moving a diaphragm back and forth. The diaphragm forms part of a chamber, which increases and decreases in size as the piston moves. There would be a non-return valve (probably a spring-assisted ball check valve) on both the chamber inlet and the chamber outlet. The diaphragm pump design allows complete separation of the working machinery from the pumped fluid, and they are generally designed so that the process fluid (water in this case) is not necessary for bearing lubrication or motor cooling. Being a positive displacement pump, it would move the same amount of water regardless of the back pressure it is pumping against. This means that if the pump is running and the hose outlet is closed with a valve on the shower head, the water still has to go somewhere, so the weakest point will fail (leak), e.g. the sealing gasket, the hose, or the pump diaphragm. If the weakest point happened to be the shower head immediately upstream of the valve, shrapnel from the resultant explosion, or being struck by the flailing hose, particularly if fitted with a metal ferrule or fitting, could cause a serious injury.The manufacturer would have assumed that the switch on the pump would be within reach during use, since the hose to the shower head is only 6.5' long. Incorporating a switch on the shower head would add significant cost, utility, and reliability issues to the product. It would require an electrical switch, an electrical cable along the length of the hose, which would be stiffened by the armour required to protect the cable from mechanical damage, and two cable glands (seals): one in the pump housing, and one in the shower head.

Answer:	I think it's about 7 feet, which was perfect for putting the pump part into a water bucket and hanging the showerhead above us in the shower tent. It's simplicity is what makes it so efficient for us.

Answer:	I hope the battery power gets weaker slowing down the run time of 5 gallons. I did several bench tests to see how quickly it drains a quart, starting with a full battery. After several times, it came to an average time of 16.5 seconds per quart. With a 5 gallon bucket at that rate it will only last 330 seconds (5 mins and 30 seconds). I plan to shut it on/off as needed.

Question:	Where can I get a shower nozzle? I have a risepro bag and the nozzle broke
Answer:	The inside of the nut that is attached to the water hoses are 1" on the inside of the nut which is attached to the hose itself. But they are considered 3/4" FIP BRASS NUT. The hose is measured at 18" IN LENGTH.

Answer:	I believe so, because there is a pipe running off of it to a drain in the wall, that the installer put in. Not 100% sure, but that is what it looks like to me.

Answer:	If you plan on using the extra shroud piece that covers the plumbing such as the Rinnai PCD03-SM2, the Rinnai kit will fit inside much easier. If you look closely you will notice the T&P valve ports are positioned differently. Any other T&P kit is a major challenge to fit inside the shroud cover. I would highly recommend getting the Rinnai kit if you plan installing the shroud cover.

Answer:	I removed the mirror. It weighs 12 ounces without the mirror, empty.

Answer:	I'm not able to actually measure it right now but it's approx 4 ft6 in from handle to end of shower hose. Hanging it at approx 7 ft I (5'2") had no problem using it but my husband (6') would get on his knees. Works great and holds enough water for a decent shower.
Question:	Would this work on a sunny day in the winter? (Can shower inside, but not necessarily a good way to heat up the water
Answer:	I've only used it once or twice in the heat of the summer, and it took all morning and afternoon to heat the water to about 100 degrees. I doubt it would work satisfactorily in the winter. My advice would be to invest in a camp stove, the more Btu/hr the better, and heat your bath water that way, or learn to enjoy being grungy and stinky.

Answer:	The tube is support for when there is water in the bag and you want to hang it to use gravity to shower underneath it. Place the tube inside the plastic sleeve and use the string around the tube to hang it. Otherwise the plastic will rip from the weight of the water.

Answer:	Yes it can hold beverages. But with that being said I would not buy this item ever again. I bought two of them one was defected from the beginning and II didn't last a day. Cheaply made for me it was a total waste of my money and time. I hope this helps you and please find something else that will work.

Answer:	No it's a crap product it broke the first time we used it, we ended up at a camping store buying a more expensive product that works fine and won't fall apart when you use it for the first time. Don't buy it. It's cheap and you get what you pay for with these, I assure you if you want to use if more than once consider cost vs price. The price of this product is attractive, the cost was that we immediately had to go buy another product which price was more but the cost per use is going to be significantly lower considering we can use it more than once.

Answer:	I’m sure you can, it’s just a regular plastic piece that attaches to the bag and nozzle. We actually shortened ours and cut it. But you can easily find a replacement hose or purchase a longer one.
