Answer:	i would strongly recommend both. Most local/major hardware stores have test strpps that you just dip in for the recommended time and then compare that to the package to evaluate chemical needs. Tarp little bigger than the pool is a good idea for a cover.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it unless the manufacturer confirms that the pump has an internal pressure relief arrangement. It looks to be a diaphragm type positive displacement pump, similar to an aquarium air pump, working via a solenoid-operated piston moving a diaphragm back and forth. The diaphragm forms part of a chamber, which increases and decreases in size as the piston moves. There would be a non-return valve (probably a spring-assisted ball check valve) on both the chamber inlet and the chamber outlet. The diaphragm pump design allows complete separation of the working machinery from the pumped fluid, and they are generally designed so that the process fluid (water in this case) is not necessary for bearing lubrication or motor cooling. Being a positive displacement pump, it would move the same amount of water regardless of the back pressure it is pumping against. This means that if the pump is running and the hose outlet is closed with a valve on the shower head, the water still has to go somewhere, so the weakest point will fail (leak), e.g. the sealing gasket, the hose, or the pump diaphragm. If the weakest point happened to be the shower head immediately upstream of the valve, shrapnel from the resultant explosion, or being struck by the flailing hose, particularly if fitted with a metal ferrule or fitting, could cause a serious injury.The manufacturer would have assumed that the switch on the pump would be within reach during use, since the hose to the shower head is only 6.5' long. Incorporating a switch on the shower head would add significant cost, utility, and reliability issues to the product. It would require an electrical switch, an electrical cable along the length of the hose, which would be stiffened by the armour required to protect the cable from mechanical damage, and two cable glands (seals): one in the pump housing, and one in the shower head.

I plan to shut it on/off as needed.

Answer:	I would not have anything plugged in to electricity while around water. Besides a charge lasts for at least 8 showers using a 5 gallon bucket per shower

Answer:	Going to vary based on usage. For example: I'm currently camping with 2 grandkids and we each took 10 minute showers last night and tonight. The shower still has charge to it but you can tell it's getting weaker.

Upgraded Version-2 Ways Power Supply

The portable shower can be powered by Rechargeable Battery or Car Cigarette Lighter. Connect pump with battery supply and push on switch on the battery to start. Insert O-ring into outlet connector. Attach outlet connector to shower head and tighten by turning anti-clockwise. Plug in the power cord to the socket of battery supply. Immerse pump into water. Push on switch on battery supply to start.

IMPORTANT:

1. Do not remove the pump from water when operating. Power off the pump before removing.
2. Ensure the shower head is securely mounted before use.

Connect pump and mini car charger with USB adapter cord. Immerse pump into water. Plug the mini car charger into cigarette lighter socket in your car to start.

IMPORTANT：

DO NOT plug USB adapter cord into any USB Wall Charger. Only use the mini car charger 5V~2A included in the package.

How big is it?

From the pump to the shower handle, you'll have approximately 6 feet of flexible hose to move about. The entire unit spans nearly 6.5 feet, so that's plenty of distance to hang it from an existing indoor shower arm mount or an outdoor high tree above your head. Still, remember that the entire device is compact and lightweight.

How do I charge the battery?

While at home, simply plug the USB cable (included) into the battery and into a USB compatible device such as a laptop or computer. If your wall outlet has an integrated USB charger, that's even better. If you're on the road, you'll need a 12V USB car adapter (included). Plug it into your cigarette lighter for easy charging while camping, at the beach, on vacation or at the park.
