Question:	How many amps is the pump
Answer:	The pump runs at .22 Amps, and recommended supply current of 2.5 Amps. A standard 15 Amp wall socket is all that you need to plug it into. The .22 Amps the pump indicates maximum start up current, actual running current will be somewhat lower. Inrush current is always higher, when the motor has to start up, actual running current will be lower, example a 1 HP motor will have an inrush current of about 34 Amps, just until the motor reaching normal operating speed then it drops down to around 7.5 Amps, quite a bit lower, but the breaker needs to be able to handle the inrush currents.
Question:	can i used without the sensor valve
Answer:	Yes.As long as you have a return line running back to your water heater. You do not need a separate return line at every faucet. You need one return line. Follow your hot water pipe to the end (last branch takeoff), cut in a tee and run pex or copper. At the bottom of your tank style water heater there is a small, usually plastic valve. Remove that valve and screw in a 3/4" brass or stainless pipe nipple. Then install a tee inline with side outlet looking up and in the end of the tee put a brass drain valve to replace the crappy plastic one if applicable. The side connection on the tee you installed is where you will connect your return line you just ran. I did not notice if this pump had a built in check valve but if not you may want one to prevent water from flowing through both the hot water main and the hot water return to the faucet nearest the end. Water will follow the path of least resistance so the last branch on the main usually ends up being similar in distance to the water heater from either line. As a result water can back feed up the return line and will bring the cold water entering the tank with it. This is especially true when a second source of hot water is being used at the same time hence the need for a check valve.
Question:	If the pump is on, and the water is hot, the sensor valve closes, right? Isn't the pump trying to push water against a totally closed line
Answer:	This type of pump is designed to operate with zero flow, and it actually uses a little less electricity when it is not moving water. When the sensor valve closes, the pump does not move any water. When the sensor valve reopens, the pump moves water from the hot water line into the cold water line.
Question:	So what this does is move the hot water through the pipes constantly, not just when you need it? Seems like an energy suck. Is it
Answer:	If you run this all the time you will likely increase your water heating costs significantly as you are turning your pipes into a big radiant heater. You can use the built in timer to only have it come on at set periods, but this will only work if you have a very fixed schedule. I attacked this another way. I plugged the unit into a TP-Link HS110 Smart plug that is Alexa controlled. I can just say turn on hot water pump or turn off hot water pump when I want to control it. But that was not good enough for me. I found that if this pump ran for four minutes it would give me hot water at the distant shower that I wanted, so I did the following. I wrote a routine to turn on the pump, wait four minutes and then turn it off. While I can run this by voice, I bought the new Amazon Alexa Button, they are about $14 for a two pack. The button is battery operated and communicates to another Alexa device. Just before I take a shower I push the button and within four minutes the water will be hot without having to run water.

Answer:	This is a safety feature; user must turn and hold handle for hot water to dispense. An unlimited flow of near boiling water could cause burns quickly.
Question:	Does the control lever move backward, or forward (toward the sink)? If backward, how much clearance is needed to fully operate the lever
Answer:	You need 2 inches from the center of the hole for the handle to rotate to the rear 1/4 turn. I'd want 2.25 or more inches.
Question:	What is the range of temperature (in Fº) adjustment
Answer:	This model is more economical "Invite" series, and h-wave sn-ss is more expensive "Involve" series. And the faucets are different. I regret I am not much help, but I just spent 10 minutes on Amazon site trying to figure out the difference. The more expensive model reads just like my more economical model: it makes 60 cups of hot water. Not sure what you get for the extra $110.

Answer:	yes it's adjustable, I use it in an old toilet also but I use it at half full. Works great. I did have to get a longer fill tube as the hose was getting in the way of the flush lever.

Question:	Does this come with a power cord or do i have to buy one separatel
Answer:	First make sure that all of the water lines are hooked up correctly. When I first installed mine I put 50 psi in the bladder tank as a place to start. When I opened the faucet flow was real low and it stopped pretty quickly. So, I dropped the air pressure in the tank to 30 psi using my tire gauge. That seems to be a sweet spot for my system. Now it will deliver a gallon of water in just over one minute. The instructions say that the maximum pressure is 90 or 100 psi but don't really make it clear where it should actually be set. I found that 30 psi works for me.
Question:	Just wondering how big should be the diameter of the hole should be to fix the faucet
Answer:	We encourage our customers to install the unit themselves. The system comes pre-assembled with comprehensive installation instructions with additional videos on YouTube to walk you through these steps. You can install the unit during our business hours where we have technicians on standby to help answer any questions. If you still do not feel comfortable, any local plumber should have no problem.

Answer:	I have the external pump attached to mine and it has a noticeable tick sound. Mine is under the sink in the cabinet and I still hear it. You get used to it after a while.

Answer:	There is no connectors included to connect it to PEX tubing. You have to find the inter-connectors between these two tubing types.

Answer:	It is no problem to get pure water, but the system can not stop automaticlly ,and life time of filters will be shorter.It is not recommended.for storage tank,I am pleasure to tell you more information. 1.the Ro system capacity just 75GPD,that is 75 gallon per 24 hours. it is about 3 gallon pure water per hour. it is very very slow ,that is reason we need storage tank to keep water. 2.it is installed under sink, that mean we should charge some pressure .standard pressure is 5-7 psi, too less or too much pressure,the system can not work well. 3.it is normal if there is waste water in red line when system work. and waste water is doulbe of pure water. but it must be off and without waste water when system don't work and tank is full. it work controlled by water tank, when tank is full, the system off, when tank is not full,system work automatically ,even you don't open faucet. 4.tank capacity is 2.8 gallon, but it just leave 80% space for pure water ,and remain space for air pressure .

Answer:	Yes you can. The timer that comes with it is a simple plug in timer - it is not built into the pump itself. But you can program it for different times in different days as it operates just like an in wall light timer.

Answer:	Yes if the sink and shower have a common cold and hot supply.

Answer:	Not water heater specific; goes on the hot water line after it leaves the water heater.
Question:	How many speed settings does this pump have? What is the gpm
Answer:	There are no speed settings. The only control is whether the pump/heater is on or off (controllable from the timer). In looking at the instruction manual that came with it, there is no mention of gallons per minute. The pump keeps your water lines filled with warm water so you can immediately wash your hands or face or start your shower with water at a pleasant temperature. As water arrives from the water heater, the temperature increases. It's a very agreeable and low cost solution to situations where the water heater is far from bathrooms or kitchen.

Question:	Can I replace just the tank and keep on using my old filter 201R system with it
Answer:	We're still using the old filter system because the new filter has a bigger hose going from the filter to the sink which will require that we replace the valve under the sink some day to install the new filter system. Changing the instant hot water "box" took about 5 minutes. Changing the filter will take a bit of time because of the valve replacement.
Question:	My contractor is asking how much amperage this unit draws? Needs its own breaker
Answer:	Basically this has already been answered but I had another comment. First the short answer is NO. Compared to other products that run at twice the power levels this should not need its own circuit. The long answer is: it depends on what else is running on the circuit already. Based on a 15-amp breaker which is setup to break instantly at much higher values or near 15-amps if run continuously at near 15-Amps. My extra two-cents worth. Barely worth 2-cents. Is that I'm surprised the 'expert' contractor even asked you this. They should already know. Or at the least take 10-mins and look it up themselves unless they were just trying to get you to spend more money on something you didnt need. Or worse yet just don't know what they are doing. Which is probably the case. Of course from their point of view it is still a good question to ask since it takes any blame for poor results off of them if there is a power problem later. ha. I have seen simular products which take 1500-watts which is getting close to needing a dedicated circuit. Of course twice the power means it heats up faster and is better for on-demand applications where as this one has a tank included and really doesn't need the faster heat up time so long as you are not drawing more than 2/3 cups of water at a time. It would be interesting to know the real heat up time 'rate' of this item. It would have also been nice if the manufacture included a power switch to choose the power level so some kind of eco mode or smart mode. For the price Im surprised it is not connected to the internet too. yikes. Other companies offer a simular product for less than $200. Not sure it is as nice however. I just bought one myself so I will see if it is worth it or not but everyone seems to love these. I hope my Mother does too.
Question:	Do I need to purchase the power supply cord for this product or is it out-of-box ready, needing only a faucet
Answer:	Power cord is built in. Its 2ft 8in from the bottom right corner of the unit when facing it. The extra one that pops up when you cart this item is likely a wired extension cable, which takes a bit of know-how to replace. So if your power jack is farther away than that you would either use the replacement cable, or just buy a grounded 2ft extension cord that plugs from both sides, which is what i would do.
Question:	Is it a direct rplcmt for Model SST (easy, no tools, same hoses, etc.)? Does it take more space than the SST
Answer:	It is the same except the filter hoses. My 2008 made SST had 3/8” tube going in and out of its filter. This one has 1/4” tubes there instead. You will need a quick trip to HoneDepot and buy SharkBite 3/8” to 1/4” adapters and sone 1/4” tube possibly as well. The rest is easy and quick.

HotMaster Digihot tank dispenses instant hot water for food, beverage and cleansing operations. The dispenser instantly provides water at the 6 preset temperatures selected during installation. The unit’s fixed spout design, mounted with its spring back handle behind the faucet, provides extra safety and security during operation. Question:	will this valve work as an additional valve for a Grundfos 59896288P1 hot water recirculation pump
Answer:	It will work with any recirculating pump.
Question:	Does this valve open and allow warm/hot water to flow to the cold water side when a cold water tap in another part of the house is turned on? I
Answer:	There is slightly increased pressure on the hot line, which pushes water through the hot line and through the crossover valve when it is open, to let the hot line reach temperature at the valve. When a cold faucet is opened, most of the pressure is on the incoming side and that's where the water will come from. At first the cold line will have some of the warm returning water that was circulating through the valve, but very little will come from the downstream side where the valve is. One problem to be aware of is when using a shower head shut-off to soap up or whatever. Because the hot and cold are both open at the mixing valve the slightly higher pressure hot water will travel up the cold line and when the shower head is turned back on you will get hot water from both the hot and cold lines until the cold water gets back down the line to the shower head. It can be dangerously hot, and turning the faucet to cold will hot help until the cold water reaches the faucet. This can be alleviated by turning water off at the faucet instead of at the shower head, leaving a partial flow rather than completely shutting the shower head off, or manually shutting off the pump before showering. But the product should include a warning about shutting off a mixed temperature flow anywhere past the mixing valve.
Question:	Does this shut down the flow completely once temperature is reached or will it continue to trickle water into the cold water line
Answer:	The valve allows a slow flow of water back through the cold water line, enough to maintain the temperature at the faucet at about 100°F. If you let the hot water run, the temperature at the faucet goes over 100°F, and the valve shuts off the back flow through the cold water line. After the faucet is shut off, the water in the valve will cool to below 100°F, and the valve will crack open and allow some flow to keep the water warm. The valve does not bang open and shut. It opens more or less, as needed to keep the water warm at the faucet. It doesn't depend on the temperature set at the water heater, except that if the water is very hot, obviously it takes less to keep the water warm at the faucet. The valve accomplishes this automatically.
Question:	How many years will a recirculating water pump last
Answer:	The pump itself I've probably had for 10 years. I've replaced one of the valves in our master bath.

Question:	How much does it weigh
Answer:	About 13 pounds according to the manufacture, without the small propane container. Very easy to lift, very portable, very wonderful showers with this device!
Question:	How many gallons of water can it hold
Answer:	It does not hold water. The water is in a separate container. We use a 5gallon plastic bucket.
Question:	Can I power/heat it using 12v or dc? Or do I need to use propane
Answer:	This unit is a propane heater, meaning, the propane is what heats the unit to heat the coils that heat the water. You do need electricity to start the unit and make it work, to use the propane to heat the water. Just turning it on with electricity will not start any mechanisms to heat water as this is not an electric water heater.
Question:	Almost all propane heaters have an altitude limitation, usually 6500 feet. What does the manual say about alititude
Answer:	I don’t know what the manual says, but we used it in the Sierras last summer at 7,388 feet of altitude for all of our 12 day vacation with at least 2 to 5 showers per day with no problems.
