Operating Instructions & Battery installation:

1. Open the battery compartment by turning the anti-clockwise until the notches are in-line and lift upwards remove the top. Then open the compartment lid and insert 2*1.5V Size Alkaline batteries in the correct polarity. Once the batteries have been inserted replace the lid and top. When replacing the top make sure that notches are in-line and then turn clockwise to lock into place.

2. To activate the light turn the switch to the ON position. To activate the Fan turn the switch to the required fan level(Low or High)

3. When the batteries are exhausted please remove them from the battery compartment and dispose of them at your nearest battery recycling point. Replace exhausted batteries with new batteries of the same type and brand.

Some may find it easier to just put 3 AA batterys in for All night backup power .. And I'm not 100% sure on this but if you put 3 rechargeable AA it may give u evern more on time plus recharge AA rechargeable batterys win it's plug to change the Lantern.. Answer:	I'm really not sure I would think that would depend on if you use the bunny batteries or cheap. The lights were not as bright as I thought they would be, comparable to a nightlight. The kids liked them so I gave to them. I had enclosed 10x10 canopy at camp I wanted to light up to play cards, games etc... Its was not even close, it just dimmed inside at best. Strands of lighting all around did the trick.
