14 best bulk snow shovels
Bulk snow shovels are a practical investment, especially for areas with heavy snowfall. These shovels are designed to handle large amounts of snow efficiently, making them a valuable tool for snow removal during the winter months.
Typically, bulk snow shovels have a sturdy construction with a durable blade or scoop made from materials like plastic or metal. The blades often have a wide design to scoop up more snow with each pass. Additionally, the handles are generally longer to provide better leverage, reducing strain on the user's back.
The advantage of purchasing in bulk is that it's a cost-effective way for organizations, businesses, or individuals to ensure they have an ample supply of shovels for snow removal needs. This is particularly useful for commercial properties, municipalities, or homeowners' associations responsible for maintaining larger areas.
When choosing bulk snow shovels, it's essential to consider factors like the material of the blade, handle durability, and ergonomics. Some shovels may also have features like a reinforced edge for breaking up ice or a non-stick coating to prevent snow from sticking to the blade.
Having a reliable bulk supply of snow shovels ensures that you're well-prepared for the winter season, making it easier to keep driveways, sidewalks, and other outdoor spaces clear of snow and ice.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can i have the dimension of the shovel/ blade? 42L by how wide |
Answer: | yes the D-handle is hollow, may I suggest that you slip a 3/4" dowel through the handle & then get some 3/4" water pipe insulation(the black foam kind) & place over that over the handle as it may possibly work easier for you because of your arthritic hands, good luck Shagbark |
Question: | Can I get this with a grab bar |
Answer: | This snow pusher is not angled. It is designed for pushing snow more than for shoveling. |
Question: | Is 42" size sufficient or would you rather 48" or 62"? I have light snow but large driveway and don't want to make too many return paths. Thanks |
Answer: | Very easy. Need power screw driver (do NOT over tighten) for the 3 handle crews. Wrench for the blade assembly. Very light product and does the job. Satisfied customer!! |
Question: | What is the tall dimension of the blade |
Answer: | Keep searching, high demand right now. I bought mine 2 years ago for $60. Some people trying to make money off you! Sad that they price gouge!!! |

Question: | What is the difference between the TT #10, #12, and #14 grain shovel/scoops |
Answer: | I would say NO! Extremely great on smooth surfaces, but even small bumps in the concrete or sticky ice nodes can throw a hitch in your getalong. I’ve been using this for 5 years and I can navigate over the known bumps but something as dynamic as gravel would seem nearly impossible to get good results. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Senior female with bad back. Seeking best snow pusher or sleigh to easily push snow. Any product recommendations? Very confused |
Answer: | 17 Inches... you don't want it to wide because this is pretty much to move heavy wet snow. For that it works well. It is not built for chipping or scrapping because they want to keep it light weight for lifting heavy snow. Some people have said they think it is cheaply built in the reviews and I think it was more about keeping the weight down. |
Question: | How wide is the shovel? I see both 20” and 26” in the description |
Answer: | There is a metal strip across the bottom that is folded over both sides of the shovel. It clings pretty tightly on cement, but slides easily on asphalt. I love the second handle because I don't have to bend over to pick it up as I have had three back surgeries. The one thing I dislike about it is that second doesn't rotate on the shaft of the main shovel so pitching the snow off isn't as easy as my previous shovel that I wore out. (Can't find one like it or I would have gotten that instead of SnoJo. |
Question: | Anyone tall using this? My husband is 6'5" says the regular shovels aren't long enough so he has to hunch over and it hurts his back |
Answer: | I just weighed it with a luggage scale. It weighs 2 pounds. |
Question: | How to repair it when the metal edge breaks off the plastic? The rivets just pulled loose or snapped, 13 months after I bought it |
Answer: | Yes...the one lever on the handle activates the rotor, the other one activates the drive...it has forward and reverse power. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How deep of a snowfall is this good for |
Answer: | Since I don't use it for snow removal I can't answer your question. I use it to remove all the pine needles that cover our driveway. It works fine and is a great time saver. With snow it may leave a thin layer behind especially if there's a layer of hard packed snow or ice. |
Question: | Is the blade plastic or metal? The picture it looks plastic but the description says metal |
Answer: | The blade height is 15". |
Question: | Is this supposed to come with screws to attach the handle to the blade? Our order didn’t have any |
Answer: | Yes you sure can. I fact, once you have the handle, you can replace the blade with any MANPLOW Product Line blade (24", 32" and 42"). you can go wider, go narrower, you can move to the PRO Line, Fury Line... get exactly what you want. Our handles are compatible with all our blades (Except the Revolution 52 Inch and Revolution 62 Inch, they take a special handle). Replacement blades are available at the MANPLOW website. www.manplow.com |
Question: | why is there a sticker that says that there is a cancer risk with this shovel |
Answer: | Approx 6-3/8" btwn each of the bolts |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the metal blade removable |
Answer: | Yes it does, I have the 32" and the 24" manplow pro snow pusher, my advice is to buy the 24", it works better at moving wet heavy snow, believe it or not. |
Question: | for the price why would anyone buy it |
Answer: | The PRO LIne has a blade height of 13". I might agree that 12" might be too short if we were talking about the standard snow shovel width of 18"-24". When you get into the wider pusher models, you can potentially run up the weight with a heavy snow and make it very difficult to use. With U Handle,Snow Pushers, you can angle the blade and have snow cascade off to one side as you are making a pass. these passes can build up with heavier snow falls so you eventually may have to straight push is a short distance to the edge of the area you are clearing. I recommend the Grab Bar so you can lift the snow and toss it over the edge of the drive or sidewalk. |
Question: | I got 2 of these, me and my buddy shoveled out after 22"snowstorm Jan22. We blew out our left elbows, anybody else had this happen |
Answer: | Honestly, it may depend on where you live, they type of snow you get mostly and how large the area you clear is. The PRO Line is our Heavy Duty Contractor Grade model. The majority of equipment going to Michigan, New York and the North East is PRO Equipment. if you live in an area that gets frequent, heavy storms, you will be doing yourself a favor by going with the PRO Line. What may make it worth it for you is that the EZ Glide Edge is replaceable. Most folks get about 300-350 shoveling hours out of an edge, so for about $25, you can basically turn your 3 year old PRO model into a brand new unit. Additionally, because the EZ Glide Edge will glide over uneven surfaces without catching, you can clear snow from uneven surfaces with out the blade catching on broken concrete, concrete seems etc. this is why it is typically the contractors choice when running sidewalks and other long stretches. you can walk quickly the concern of a sudden stop. The Revolution blade is more geared for residential users. The blade will last about 75 hours before you need to rotate it, and once your wore out both top and bottom, replacement blades are available. NOTE: All MANPLOW Blades are compatible with all blades (Except the 52" and 62" Revolutions). this means if you try the Revolution 32" and find that you want to upgrade to the PRO Line, you can purchase any width PRO Replacement blade and it will work with your handle. Hope this helps... |
Question: | Is this the same shovel advertised on TV |
Answer: | By "rotating" they mean you can flip it over when one edge wears out and then use the top edge. It just has two bolts that are easy to remove. We use it on a long concrete driveway, so the plastic edges do wear out and get chewed up, but it makes really fast work of a light snow. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How much does it weigh |
Answer: | It is just shy of 30" |
Question: | How long does it expand to |
Answer: | Mine was fully welded. But very very lite Duty |
Question: | Are the shaft make of metal too |
Answer: | No, it won't! The bottom blade has corrugated metal edges that will get caught on grass and gravel. If your driveway is paved with asphalt, it will work better, but it is still not as effective as their advertisements suggest. It is made in China. You will also have to assemble it when it comes in the mail. That will take a few hours of your time. There is a video on how to assemble it on you tube video but it is not as easy as it looks. I hope this answers your question. Good luck! |
Question: | how long and wide is the blade |
Answer: | YES! It will work on gravel/pebble areas. Make sure you are dropping your hands a bit when you push. This will make the blade ride on the back of the EZ Glide Edge and lift up the front edge. This way it won't dig in and move rock with the snow. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this work on a two story house |
Answer: | It’s a pretty simple gizmo. What you so here is what you get. If you have enough snow to need to use this I think the solar panels should be fine. I used it after a foot of snow accumulated and it worked slick. Even after using it there remained a slight layer of snow as it didn’t scrape it clean but It is metal and has a bit of weight and I don’t know how much the two end pieces would effect your panels as they did at times make direct contact with the roof even with a foot of snow. |
Question: | Some say yes to working on a 2 story house. Others say no. How can that be |
Answer: | I do have heat cables as well. I would get the rake just above the cables and push upwards to let the snow slide down. That is the way it works. Do not drag it down over the cables or you will catch them and pulled them off. It worked really well last winter. Warning. If you are up on a ladder doing this move your body away when the chunk of snow comes towards you. I haf a buddy help me to hold my ladder as it was a bit heavy to push up and move out of the way when the snow came down the rake. |
Question: | Is it easy to modify this to ~30' to reach a 2 story roof? I've read you need ~30' for 2 story and don't see any extensions for this model on sale |
Answer: | When any pole gets out to 30 feet it tends to bow so you leave the weight on the roof and slide it over and then push it back up the roof straight. |
Question: | Can one adjust the length to any position between fully extended and fully collapsed, or only add a full section at a time |
Answer: | Yes it is. |
Question: | Can this be used to push snow off the roof from a higher floor window, or is it only for pulling snow off |
Answer: | It might if you took the two rollers off the bottom, but then would be likely to scrape the roof especially if it is tin. |
Question: | Can I purchase just the rake section seperately ? Don't the wheels pop out easily and get lost |
Answer: | yes.. |
Question: | Can it be used on solar panels |
Answer: | Don’t worry if you need it by it it works wonderfully and I have been using on snow as well as lease on my roof you’re not paying a fortune for it so don’t worry just buy it |
Question: | Has anyone used this or any other rake to remove snow from a year round sunbrella type(cloth material |
Answer: | Sure is. I'm just over 6'3" and it takes the strain out of shoveling. |

Garelick Aluminum Snow Roof Rake - 21'
This unique snow flake roller design is easier to use because the blade never touches the roof's surface, preventing damage, while also making it easier to roll back up the roof.
By using the Garelick Roof Snow Rake to safely remove snow from roofs, homeowners can prevent the damage of ice dams. Ice dams cause water to back up under shingles, ruining roofs, ceilings and walls. Removing snow also relieves unnecessary weight on the terrace, which may damage the eaves.

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this work on a loose “pebble/gravel” surface |
Answer: | Search T5 replacement on amazon and there’s plenty of replacement bulbs. Just look at the Kelvin (color temperature) of the bulb you’re replacing it with etc. |
Question: | Does this 32" manplow pro snow pusher have the holes predrilled to accommodate the manplow grab bar |
Answer: | I did a quick search on T5 in amazon and there’s many replacement bulbs. And I can’t quite answer “Lumens” but I have a LUX meter and it peaks at 47.8k lux which translates to 644.96 umol/s/m2 which is absolutely more than plenty to keep a plant at Veg or to propagate. It’s pretty bright. The only difference between this and other lights is that this has a timer built into it. |
Question: | What is the height of the blade? I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying 12"-13" is too short |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Is the pro worth the extra $37? is the ezglide edge the same as the other manplow? will the other manplow be fine on decks as well |
Answer: | The outside diameter of the 5 gallon pail is @ 12" and it actually comes with an 8" basket pot that fits over the bucket. I know you said you wanted a 6" net pot but we wanted you to know there was a misprint and it should be an 8" pot. We will be changing the description shortly. Question: | So is this 100% poly or is it steel dipped in poly |
Answer: | I have never seen one. And I have never worn one out or damaged it in any way. I use a square point steel shovel for the packed snow (from vehicle tires) on cement part of my driveway in front of garage and the berm left at end of driveway buy city snow plow. I prefer a wood handle on very cold days. Actually I have about 15 show shovels and have removed the "wear strip" from half that had them. The wear strip on average shovels catches on cracks and such in concrete. The rounded front on the Sleigh Shovel works better. As I get older and my back gets worse, I mostly pack down snow by driving on it repeatedly on first 5 inches of snow that sticks. That gives me a firm rock free base over my mostly rock driveway to run my snow throwers on. So far I have only replaced one of the shear or breakaway pins on snow blowers rotating blade. We get mostly powder snow and only about 50 inches a year. 50 inches of snow theoretically melts down to maybe a half inch of water. In the real world car tires pack it down to maybe 8 inches of packed snow, in none melted. |
Question: | Where is it made |
Answer: | Asof 1/1/21 this is $3 cheaper at Home Depot. How much is your time and gas worth to you? |
Question: | Does it actually take 1-2 months to ship |
Answer: | The cotter pins that hold the wheels onto the axles are very commonly found in pretty much all hardware stores for pennies. You may have to buy a couple of sizes to get one that fits the diameter of the hole in the axle. A paper clip may bet you by in the short term until you can get to the store. |
