Answer:	I have worn them with Keen sandals. One foot I had to put sticky tape between shoe and insert. But it stays in place fine now.

Answer:	These fit really true to size for me. I'm a slim 30" waist (or even a 29") and ordered 30's. They fit great and if I'd have ordered smaller, I think the elastic waistband would be annoying. For lenght, defer to a bit longer as they can cinch up around the ankles. Perfect over hiking boots.

Answer:	There's a saying when you're hiking "cotton kills"... this is a lightweight fabric that is designed to resist water but still be breathable, they resist stickers and thorns. The fabric dries fast and the pockets have a mesh interior so if water gets in them it drains. It's too bad the other person answering threw them away - they could have given them to someone who would treasure them for their intended purpose. I'm not certain of the exact makeup but I would assume some type of poly/nylon with a bit of spandex for stretchability. When I go to places like Puerto Rico all I bring are these pants, I just get in the water to clean them up and am dry in a short while. Daytime the legs come off to stay cool, when the sun sets I zip them back on for bug control and to stay warmer. Super easy to wash, I run them through the washer with my other clothes. They are very durable but if you're allergic to synthetics, these could be terrible...

Answer:	It’s in the descriptive name: cargo, straight, camo, etc. I would not recommend these, however, unless the wearer is very gentle on pants. My 14 yo used them for school, and the crotch split within two months. They are not a suitable replacement for higher-end hiking pants—would be ok for standing on the edge of a stream.

Answer:	Im not 100% sure as I only have their convertibles in 30" inseam. But I do know there shorts run the same length no matter the waist size. For example a 26" waist has a 12" inseam as does the 32" waist. Not sure if that helps in your case but either way these are my favorite hiking pants to date. Sturdy construction, stretch fabric, a bit heavier than your average hiking pants. Not thin like columbia hiking pants. More similar to rock climbing pants in feel and durability. Hope that helps.

I learned this trick when I was traveling and had only 2 pairs of pants. The fabric is very wind resistant, and wearing two pair of these guys traps an insulating layer of air between the inner and outer pants.

Answer:	Could not find any on the pants. Washed and dried normal, they came out fine.

Answer:	I'm 5'7" and the XXL were plenty long for me. I think they would be long enough for your height. They were quite baggy in the waist and legs. I returned them.

Answer:	No there is not a zipper and I don’t think they would fit over a bulky ski boot. They are shaped like a regular pant. That is one of the reasons why I like them.

Answer:	They are more of a straight leg. Not narrow at bottom. Not flared or bell bottom at all. There is no gaiters underneath. My opinion is they would be too bulky to tuck into boots.

Answer:	The side pockets feel very deep....they extend down 11” from the waistband. The zippered pockets on the thigh are 7” deep, about 6” wide. My phone is a 6" Android and feels securely deep in the side pocket, easily fits into the zippered pocket. LOVE these pants.

Answer:	These pants are not ultra lightweight so they will feel a little humid because of the material. I use them in the south Florida sun and have no complaints. I’ve had far worse. I think you’ll like them, but in a worst-case scenario you could always return them.
