Answer:	The wood Palapa poles were too big, but I’ve used them on wood poles in Greece. It’s about the circumference rather than the type of pole.

Answer:	well it more rigid than a milk carton so i guess it would be ridged. the uprights are made from thin tubed aluminum and the tops of seats and table are made from plastic, my wife and i weight together 360 lbs (I'm 240 and she is 120) and we can both sit an it doesn't collapse

Answer:	I don't remember if there were instructions, but it is very easy to figure out. The first few times opening it may take a little more muscle because it is new and stiff. Open the legs and snap on the top. The bottom shelf stays on.
