Answer:	If the post is strong enough to handle the weight, and as long as you have something that will keep the strap from slipping down like a nail then yes you could use it that way.

Answer:	Load bearing products are designed with a factor of safety. A ladder for instance may be rated for 300lb but have a factor of safety of 3. The ladder can safely handle 300lbs but it is tested for durability at 900lb. These straps may have an FOS of 1.5 which would be 2100lbs. It's a good selling point showing "2000+" in the title.

Answer:	Vertical with no interference is ideal. Because I am most often hanging for overnight, I have never selected a more horizontal anchor point. Even for leisure in the yard I choose vertical anchor points. Palms are fine. Remember palms grow from a root ball not a tap or spread root system, and that means they can be pulled over easier.

Answer:	The straps can be used on the post. Now whether or not that post will be safe to hold up the hammock is the question. Also, the sharp edges of the post may wear the straps quicker.

Question:	Can I throw these in the washer if dirty
Answer:	Yes, you can machine wash. Then either dry on low or hang dry them. Don't dry them on high because they are made of polyester and can get damaged in high heat.

Answer:	I do that. Also my hammocks have ropes so I use the original ropes to extend on the big tree, and to make it even up.

Answer:	Each strap extends the hammock reach about 9 feet (less the diameter of the tree), there are 15 loops per strap, 400 pounds total load limit (hammock and straps)

Question:	It is listed as Red/Charcoal but the image looks Orange/Gray. What is the actual color
Answer:	It is definitely a TRUE Red and Charcoal. My son has a picture posted on his FB and it was over a creek in daylight and it is definitely Red & Charcoal... he would have made me return it had it been orange!
Question:	how is this different from the regular atlas straps
Answer:	They are essentially the same except for the color options and the Chroma straps weigh a little bit more.
