Answer:	I've had no problems with them but since they are aluminum I tend not to place a lot of pressure on the back. As far as weight the bottom is supported by the bench.

Answer:	Yes. The latch will catch any bleacher with a thickness of 2.75 inches or less. The latch keeps it from tipping and sliding back. Used it for a whole football season.

Answer:	I do not recommend this for a canoe. I am not very happy with this in the bleachers in that the single center hook just doesn't secure the seat that well.

Answer:	I would recommend a stouter stool for that weight. I weigh 180 and it is fine with me as long as I don't wiggle around on it a lot.
