Answer:	I've owned this chair for about a month now and the recline is still rather stiff. It's comfortable to lean back and rest my feet on my desk (the height of your bed might be lower) but the chair is quick to return to the upright position as soon as my legs aren't forcing it to lean back. Answer:	About 18”. I’m 5’8. No problems getting out. I have a bum knee.

You just have to deal with your friends making fun of you for your WIDE chair. Make them sit in it.
