Answer:	I would think china. We use it for cooking outside and a canister of butane lasts a long time. But, that's just me and we're typically cooking one dish and not a dinner. You may use more. It's cheap and often sold in 3 and 4pks. If you're cooking for 4 people 3 x day =12 meals, I would guess two might be as much as you'd need. But I suggest you buy a 4 pack and see how much you use. If you're feeling scientific you could make an approximation by weighting the canister, cooking a typical meal and weighing the canister again and seeing how much you used.

Answer:	We took this bad boy camping for 2 weeks and went through 1 1/2 cans of fuel (cooking nearly every night). I would stock up on cans however, as some states dont have these readily available. This stove is great! Love the sturdy carry case too!

Answer:	Some people who answered this question need to be little more realistic and objective. Very big portion of current Chinese manufacturing was handed to them by US corporations out of greed. Top %1 who manages WallStreet also places huge pressure on US corporations to be much more profitable (greedy). End result, fire US worker, take manufacturing to China and pay much less. So "they stole from us" is not quite correct.

Answer:	YES YOU CAN...BUT....EVERYTHING used involving FIRE releases some type of Co2 emissionsyou need to take a few precautions such as using it in a vented area opening windows and having ceiling or portable fans. If you have a hood fan above your electric/gas oven and it vents smoke and fumes outside or to the attic you should definitely place this burner on top of your oven, if it doesn't vent to the outside or attic you'll just be recirculation back inside. Also you NEVER want to leave it unintended and once you're done cooking turn it off. It wouldn't hurt to get a Co2 monitor and place it around 10-12 feet away from your cooking area, having it that distance will keep it from going off unnecessarily yet still let you know if the Co2 levels get high. And above all use some common sense you are cooking over a open flame!!!
Question:	On high, how long will a 16.4oz propane cylinder last? How long will a butane canister last
Answer:	I actually tested this out to see how long each fuel would last. The 8oz.Butane lasts just a little over 2 full hours on high heat.The 16oz. Propane lasts just over 4 hours on high heat. However,where I live (Boise,Idaho) the elevation is about 2,800 above sea level so that is a factor to take into consideration....different elevations,slightly different results. Also,not every can is going to give you the same results. On average,I'd be comfortable to say that the above times are pretty consistent + or - 10 minutes either way.

Answer:	No It's not needed and no connection. Just one 8 ounce can other brand or 8.8 ounce of coleman butane and you're good to go.

Answer:	Camping I do not use anything and none of my plastic table tops have had any injury do to heat. Nor has the metal or wood picnic tables at campsties. I bought the flameless version last fall after seeing one at a caving convention in July last year in MT. It will allow me to have a fameless version to cook when our wild fire season in MT is demanding no flame cooking. They often allow the flameless version which by the way is not flameless just has a kind of closed cover on top like an electric burner making it appear flameless. Under the burner is a flame unlike this version and which has an open burner much like a gas range burners have. Makes all the difference when camping during wildfire season however. BY THE WAY if you buy one that does not have a wind shield make one or buy one they make all the difference in the world for fuel effeciency as well as heating up your pot. I bought my stove over 10 years ago with no wind shield and made one about 8 years ago from aluminum sheeting sold on Amazon. I cut it into tall pieces that fold up and hinged them together with metal wire coil binders and yes used the paper punch that uses those wire binders to make the holes. It worked great. And it folds up and fits right on top of stove tucked inside the plastic case that came with that stove. Bottom line most of these stoves are pretty much equal with some slight differences. Overall great. At home I find using a silicone sink mat even though it has ridges to dry dishes or use as a hot plate works extremely well to keep it from sliding. These also sold on Amazon are rated over 500 degrees and food safe silicone. Come in variety of colors but I prefer frosted or clear. I have not used the mats camping. A Silicone baking sheet my not insulate as much as you are concerned with. But like I said have never had so much heat to harm any surface including the plastic folding tables I often use when camping if there is no picnic table available. Answer:	I have not used this stove yet, but I thought I saw a canister can last up to an hour and a half or two hours depending on how high you have it.

Answer:	This is our second one, we use them for camping, backyard cooking, power outages, emergency kit/ travel kitchen, for many Asian table cooked foods like hotpots, shabu shabu, stir fries... I enjoy cooking on it, it sits on the glass top stove with a vent above, windows 6' and 15' away on either side, and a comfortable cooking height. The fuel cans last longer if you do not open it 100% to cook, we find open about 75-85% works fine. In about 8 years we've never had a problem, nor during indoor cooking, has the co2 monoxide detector gone off. If you use it inside, make sure you have good cross ventilation, and a working carbon monoxide detector nearby. This uses oxygen, and can be dangerous if you don't have windows sort of across from each other, open slightly (we have them open about 1 to 1.5" in winter or rain, wider in summer, and if there's no wind, we have a fan, electric or battery) blowing out the closer window. Excessive? Not if you were almost killed by co2 poisoning when the furnace repairman didn't put it back together right and we had all the co2 coming into the house. Now our all electric house has a battery co2 detector. Hope this helps for uses & sadety...

Homewerks VGV-1LH-B3B Premium Gas Ball Valve is certified for use on piping ANSI Z21.15 / CSA 9.1 which states in paragraph 1.3.2 in the -2009 version: "a valve or device threaded for connection to piping shall have pipe taper threads conforming to the Standard for Pipe Threads". (I'm not sure why there are some "No" answers here for this question, unless they're for a different product. Also, the standard taper on pipe threads is not very noticeable). I've installed this valve 1/2" NPT (i.e. tapered) gas piping with not problems. Note that you must always use pipe thread tape or pipe dope approved for gas lines for these types of threaded pipe connections.

Answer:	I have used these outside for years. One is in a very moist sprinkler box. I have used most of them for water but they should work great for gas.

Answer:	You can use it as a flow regulator but it's intended purpose is off and on for gas lines. Inside there's a small brass ball with a hole in the center, tiuning it part of the way on would let it control the flow. The picture you see is the on position, turning the handle sideways would be the off position, you could turn it a little and slow down the flow.

Answer:	I would not use anything big enough to cover the butane cover section as if that butane canister being thinner metal gets to hot it becomes a ticking time bomb. If I remember right I'm thinking they don't recommend anything over 10-11" in diameter in pots to keep from reflecting heat back down over butane cover. If using the 1 lb propane bottles probably not an issue. You could also wrap the rubber hose with some reflective aluminum foil that goes into stove.

Answer:	I purchased this item to connect to a Dyna-Flo natural gas heater and the fittings were all 1/2". I'm sure you are going to need a propane tank to 1/2" fitting adapter. Answer:	If you invest a additional $7 for the Camco 44850 Gen-Turi Suction Cup mount, it should handle the wind just fine, mine has.

Answer:	there are many things that need to beconsidered for rv generator , first is duty cycle as a true rv generator will run for days without shut down and many others need the fuel stop to cool and check oil as well as temp as a fire could result.second a true rv generator also will run electronics with no wave form problems for tv or computer, third exhaust needs to be clean some have catalick converters and others don't which cause problems for healthh and campers next to you. fourth good generators cost more for duty cycles and quality and durability which means the cheap $200.00 generator does not work well when it is not brown out protected( there goes the ac) fifth the not knowing person points the generater exhaust under camper and fuems kill the campers inside

The Camco Gen-turi RV Generator Exhaust System is a venting system designed specifically for RV generators that provides for fresher air around RVs as well as reduces generator noise. The Gen-turi utilizes a tubing and coupling system to raise generator exhaust above the top level of your RV. Reduce RV Generator Exhaust and Noise

RV generators are a popular and convenient tool for providing instant power when you on the road, but close quarters at rallies, tailgate parties and at campgrounds create a need for a reduction in the noise and exhaust fumes that they generate. This is where Gen-turi comes in. The Gen-turi is made specifically for use with RV generators,* when the vehicle is at rest. It diverts nasty fumes away from the ground, where they can be inhaled by neighboring RVers and campers, allowing you all your comforts while remaining a good neighbor. As generator exhaust is vented above the roof line of the RV and is also air cooled in a patented process. Dilution of fumes leads to less rattle that is often transferred to the vehicle body, and then the surrounding area, resulting in reducing noise all around. The Gen-turi is also conveniently light weight at only nine pounds, and comes with its own soft storage bag.

How it Works

Exhaust "noise" comes from two sources: vibration and the sound made by the actual gases leaving the exhaust pipe. Most manufacturers mount generators in a manner that uses some type of rubber material to isolate the vibration of the generator. Even though the Gen-turi is rigidly secured to the exhaust system, rubber straps are used to stabilize the Gen-turi to the coach.

This prevents transferring the vibration noise of the generator system to the coach. As an added benefit, the noise made by the gases discharging from the generator exhaust pipe is diverted upward, above the roof line of the coach. As a result, in most installations, the exhaust system is actually quieter with the Gen-turi installed.

Answer:	The oxygen sensor may be turning it off. Make sure there is airflow around the unit. At altitudes of approx. 4500+ it may shut off for much the same reason. Blow out the Aperture with air. There is a little hole down on the gas nozzle for that purpose. Canned air is best. A compressor may break something. I had a friend who just blew it out with his breath and it worked better. Clean the entire unit of dust and debris. Check the gas debris pipe and empty the sediment. Check your bottle, it may be near empty, or the control valve may be partially closed.
Question:	Is the valve 1/2" FIP to 1/2" flare? Is the connector 1/2" ID? What are the EXACT specifications on each of the adapters? Shocked it sells W/ no info
Answer:	The description says 3/8 and 3/8 but the one I got was 1/2 x 1/2 with adapters. It says universal but for me probably not since I actually needed 3/8 female and this only comes with 3/8 male so I will have to spend more money to make this work.

Question:	Does anybody have trouble lighting this heater? Seems I need to hold the ignition button in for a minute and it really hurts my thumb
Answer:	Hey Spike, I agree with Thomas W. Mine wouldn't start on the first try either. You have to hold the ignition button down, wait a few seconds, then depress again. It's kind of a pain, but it works. A more annoying issue for me was wanting to use it in my golf cart, but with every tiny bump, the safety feature kicked in and off it went. So, it is safer for home use. For the cart, I bought the Coleman Catalytic Heater with the special holder that fits in the cup holders. It's more quiet too. Stay warm!
Question:	With an adapter hose can it be used with a large propane cylinder
Answer:	Not a problem. Make a 10"x10" box. Nail 2x6 together in the shape of a U. Then put 3/8" inch plywood on top and bottom (3/8" a must on top). Then make a 2 1/4" hole in the center of the top plywood. Next screw the main heater assembly into the filter with the top plywood in between (the two should come together snug leaving a very small separation which will allow the heater to rotate with no chance of a leak but still be secure). Then attach the hose and tank. This box allows for a large tank to be attached, the heater can rotate and the tipsy problem is gone.. Just remember to turn off the tank first to burn up the gas in the line before turning off the heater.
Question:	Has anyone used it tent camping? I'm afraid of fire and fumes, but the cub scouts insist in camping in sub freezing temps
Answer:	I used it last summer (2017), at night We went to bed late around 1:00 am, and usually by 5:00 am the 1lb tank is already empty and it's went the temp is the lowest, I spent about a tank per night, kept our 8 person tent warm, we have ventilation at the top and all the heat went up but I rather have ventilation that non at all, I'll probably wake up at 5 and replace the propane tank. We camped I bigbear, CA and it was cold at night, I might try an electric heater plugged into my Honda but still you have Carbon monoxide coming from the generator.
