Question: What is the strand/gauge count
Answer: One of my dogs (the Jack Russell) is nearly 17 years old and she is fine with it. She is too deaf to hear the sound but she does seem calmed by the spray. We got the spray for our Sheltie, who is a real barker, but after we use the spray both dogs lay down and take a nap for about 20 minutes.

User questions & answers

Question: Would this keep drinks cold on an outdoor patio
Answer: This unit will keep things about 20 degrees cooler than the outside temp at best. I freeze a couple of water bottles or a freezer pack and it will keep things cold much better. Takes about 10 hrs or more before the frozen bottles melt enough to drink with the outside temp at over 90 degrees.
Question: What mechanism generates the cool
Answer: 40 Quart PowerChill Hot/Cold Thermoelectric Cooler Take some cold drinks on your next road trip while leaving the ice at home with a Coleman 40 Quart PowerChill Thermoelectric Cooler. More than a cooler, but not quite a refrigerator, it cools up to 40 °F below the surrounding temperature without any ice. So if you use your cooler in an environment where the temperature is 70 °F, this cooler will maintain an internal temperature around 30 °F. You can use it like you would any other cooler except, instead of throwing ice inside, you simply plug in the 12V car power adapter. Then add your pre-chilled drinks and snacks. Your cooler will reach maximum coldness in about three hours (you can speed this up by adding Coleman ice substitutes) and stay cold as long as it's plugged in. Large enough to hold 44 cans, you'll have plenty of space for refreshments for the whole trip, and you can keep all your contents organized with the storage tray.
Question: Can it be powered with a battery
Answer: Sure....It is 12 volt, so it can be powered with the included cigarette lighter cord, or from any 12 volt battery with the appropriate cord for connection.
Question: How long can it stay plugged in before draining battery
Answer: That question depends totally on your battery supply. Mine runs off of 2 -12V batteries and I can leave it on for 12 hrs or more before I have to start the truck and make sure the batteries don't get past half used.

User questions & answers

Question: Would it be dangerous to put this in an apartment? How stable is this for a 250 pound man and his 150 wife? How do you drain it if it is safe
Answer: i have this product I modern floor are rated for 400 pds per square inch I had it in a mobile home all set up and it was awesome it held my 600 pds in human plus the water weight I think it will be fine for you and your wife the room I had it in had no windows and it was more humid in there but no mold be sure to rinse the filters everyday and pool shock it every couple weeks it need like 2 table spoons of shock very in expensive and it is 400 pds per square inch any online research will tell you that
Question: Filled weight would be too heavy for a deck, right
Answer: It really depends on the deck. Your truck would put all the weight on only 4 points (the tires), and no way would I put that on a deck. But 2000 lbs from a spa like this is evenly spread out over a 77" diameter circle. My own deck has 2x8 joists, that only span 6 feet between leg supports, with 2x6 boards on top, and the joists are 16" on center. I would have no hesitation putting 1 ton of weight on that, spread over such a large area. ( I also doubt your truck only weighs 1936 pounds... that lighter than a small car!)
Question: can u use this in the cold
Answer: It does fine in the cold! We've been using ours in the recent 2 week cold snap. Our is sitting out on a deck with a piece of 1" foam board insulation under the ground cover. It has no trouble maintaining 104 degrees with the top cover on it. The heater can't keep up when the cover is open though. The temp will drop to 102 in about 30 minutes once the cover is open. And if you turn the bubbles on the temperature drops like a rock. Probably drops 2 degrees every 10 minutes with the bubbles going. My son and I were out in it the other day when it was 8 degrees and windy out. Only problem we had was our wet hair kept freezing into icicles LOL. Was awesome. Coldest I've been in it was 2 degrees the other night. I have no plans of turning it off at all this winter. I'm afraid to look at my next electric bill though. Also, be sure to be aware of the fact it automatically turns off in 3 days if you don't push any buttons. If it turns off in extreme cold for long I'd expect the pump to freeze and ruin the whole thing. I use it every night before bed and just play with the buttons a little. That seems to reset the 3 day timer. Also, you need to be aware that if you have a momentary power outage, the hot tub will not turn back on automatically, so if your microwave clock is flashing you need to go restart the hot tub :)
Question: Does it come full full or am I responsible for providing the water
Answer: As others have reported, mine also came with the dehydrated water cubes. After much deliberation, we decided to set the cubes aside and as we are water vegan. As a replacement, we went very green and decided to turn the heater on full blast and go with heated hot tub air! Very low impact on the environment...nothing is better that getting into a pair of trunks and settling down into the relaxing tub on 104 degree air...so so nice on your back. The pump provides great atmospheric bubbles of air up and down our backs! The only issue we have is the rapid temperature change of the air we already preheated. We do however get about 12 to 15 second air soak times after the cover is removed! Cheers!
Question: Does this include the sand to dust the surface with after
Answer: It does not come with sand, apply the deck-o-seal and pour silica sand over it immediately . You can purchase silica sand at Lowes or Home Depot. Unfortunately, you will have to purchase more than you will need but the price is very reasonable.
Question: Do i need to add color ? says” deck o seal tan”is it tan color ? i’m confused

Question: is this the 96 oz kit
Answer: Yes this is 96 oz kit.
Question: How much is the deep and wide gap should be ? And if isnot in range what i should feel the gap with . I just did mine with polymeric sand only
Answer: Mine was fairly deep and I used the rope caulking so my gap to fill was about 1/2 x 1/2” some areas were almost 1” wide by 1/-3/4 deep. It worked great
Question: Can this be used on a shower floor
Answer: I would not recommend this for shower floors.
Question: Can it applied over painted cool deck and patch repairs
Answer: As long as the Cool Deck has been previously painted with a water-based paint, yes you can. It can also be painted over patches if that's what your asking.
Question: Can this be used on block wall
Answer: I don’t see why not. It’s just a little bit thicker then paint.
Question: How can I get this tinted
Answer: To tint this you add 1gallon of paint in the color you want. We have several Amazon listings with paint that will work well in it. Message me and I will direct you to them. You can purchase both at once and I will mix here at the shop.
Question: Is this acrylic based pait
Answer: Yes, easy clean up latex
Question: Does it say if you can use this on metal pools
Answer: To the best of my knowledge, No it does not. It is very good paint that needs to be thinned but is meant for concrete pools.
Question: Can this be used on fiberglass pools
Answer: Yes
Question: do you have to use primer first
Answer: I haven’t used primer, also make sure to apply paint during the right temp, to hot and paint will bubble. Also make sure to let it cure
Question: I have some cracks inside the expansion joints, will this work
Answer: Deck-O-Seal flows a great deal when wet before it sets up. It has to be constrained or it will flow away. You will have to pour fine sand in the crack to create a floor for the product to sit in if you prepare the joint properly you will love this product.
Question: From the 1st step to the last is it hard to keep debris out of the pool? Thanks
Answer: It's unclear to me whether or not we're talking about a vinyl pool and a stone edging around it or is it a plaster pool as far as debris is concerned you need to look at the trees the wind direction and the time of the year generally if you're living in the east August would be the best time to do this
Question: How long does it take to dry? I have a pool party in a week
Answer: Overnight, if you mix it right.
Question: How do I remove leaves and debris after it has dried
Answer: after it dries it is hard to remove small debris but if you can rub a sponge back and forth over the leaf you might be able to sand it down.
Question: can it be used on galvanized steel (stock tank
Answer: no,need special paint for galvanized steel.
Question: My pool has a plaster finish. Do I need to use a primer before applying this paint
Answer: I don't think so- you will need to clean it with TSP. You can check the web site to be sure.
Question: Can this be used on a fiberglass pool with white gelcoat
Answer: I am not an expert, but I see no reason you couldn't, it works well even over old pool paint
Question: How much paint is needed
Answer: How much paint is needed for a 18 x 34 pool
Question: Do you have to apply the cool deck coats and then another clear sealer on top of that? What kind of clear sealer do you get
Answer: The COO! pool deck BUNDLE comes with one gallon of Triple Crown Cleaner and a half gallon of the SealBack Clear Sealer. SealBack is a water based acrylic sealer that is engineered for sealing the COOL! coating itself. It's water thin, delivering great penetration. We recommend 2 GOOD coats of COOL in the morning hours before temperatures get too hot (use 3/4" nap rollers) , and 2 THIN coats of SealBack during the hottest part of the day(use 1/2" nap rollers)! The SealBack sealer loves to be applied in the bright sunshine for maximum cure. Thank you and reach out to us anytime! (888) 776-2242 .
Question: How long does it take for the sealer to dry
Answer: Hi. Thanks for your question. In a typical application, the sealer will be dry and open for foot traffic in one hour. However, you should not apply the sealer if rain is in the 24 hour forecast. Hope this helps! We appreciate your interest in our product.
Question: Can this be used on a wooden deck
Answer: Hi. No. Cool is only for concrete. Thanks for your interest in our product.
Question: What type of paint and how much
Answer: Add 1 gallon of paint to the product.

In The Swim Patio and Deck Paint

In The Swim Patio and Deck Paint is a water-based acrylic non-slip concrete deck coating. Patio and Deck Paint can be applied to damp surfaces, cutting the time between site preparation and roller painting. First time applications will require a minimum two coats depending on surface porosity. Patio and Deck Paint should be applied with a 1/2" nap roller on smooth surfaces. Use a 3/4" nap roller cover on rougher surfaces. Coverage: 90 - 125 sq ft per gallon on average. If the outside ambient air temperature if above 80°F, wait 4 hours between coats. Curing time: Before foot traffic is 24 - 48 hours depending on the outside ambient air temperature.

Determine Area Size

Determining the square foot of the area you are coating is important. This will help you figure out how many gallons of paint are needed to complete the job. It’s important to take the surface porosity and smoothness into account when deciding how much paint to purchase. Start by measuring the length and width of the area. Once you have those measurements plug them into the formulas below. Divide that number by the coverage square foot of the coating you are wanting to use. That will give you the number of gallons that you should purchase. Remember to look and see if the paint requires a single or multiple coats and if it needs a primer.

Prepare the Surface

When preparing a surface for a coating of any kind it is important to clean the area. Start by sweeping, scraping, and scrubbing the area removing any loose debris. Then hose and scrub the surface with tri-sodium phosphate 10% solution. The solution will degrease and rid the surface of any unwanted contaminants. We suggest on smooth surfaces to do a light acid wash to etch the surface. The etching will allow the paint to adhere to the surface firmly. Hose and scrub the area again with the tri-sodium phosphate 10% solution. Hose completely clean. This will remove additional debris and neutralize the acid. Allow the surface to dry with no puddles or standing water.

First and Second Coats

In The Swim Patio and Deck Paint should be applied to a damp surface with no standing water. Use a 1/2" nap roller on smooth surfaces. Use a 3/4" nap roller on rough surfaces. Roll on the first coat of paint allow a minimum of 4 hours before starting the second coat. After the 4 hour wait you are clear to roll the second coat. Wait 24 - 48 hour before the area can take heavy traffic. Coverage: 90 - 125 sq ft per gallon on average.

In The Swim CRC Pro-Series Chlorinated Rubber-Base Pool Paint

In The Swim CRC Pro-Series Chlorinated Rubber-Base Pool Paint is a self-priming paint designed as a re-coat for existing rubber-base finishes. If re-coating an existing interior, one coat is suggested. A second coat may be required on unpainted or porous surfaces. Chlorinated Rubber-Base Pool Paint has excellent chemical resistance and color retention, allowing the paint to last 3 years on average. Coverage: 250 square feet per gallon on average. This product should be applied with a 9" roller equipped with a 3/8" nap. Pot Life: Indefinite as long as it is properly sealed. Allow to cure 4 - 6 hours in between coats. Cure 10 days minimum before filling.

Determine Area Size

Determining the square foot of the area you are going to paint is important. This will help you figure out how many gallons of paint are needed to complete the job. It’s important to take the surface porosity and smoothness into account. When looking at how much paint you should purchase. Start by measuring the length and width of the area. Once you have those measurements plug them into the formulas below. Divide that number by the coverage square foot of the paint you are wanting to use. That will give you the number of gallons that you should purchase. Remember to look and see if the paint requires single or multiple coats and if it needs a primer.

Drain Water

Now that you have selected the paint type and know the square footage of the interior, it’s time to drain the pool. Rent or purchase a submersible pump. As soon as the outside ambient air temperature drops below 85° F. Check the local code for where pool water can be drained and start pumping. If the outside ambient air temperature is above 85° F stop draining the pool. At these elevated temperatures, the interior surface can crack and lose its structural integrity. While the pool is draining, remember that you can start to prepare the pool for paint.

Prepare for Paint

Now that the pool has been drained, you can start to prep the interior for paint. Start by removing the perimeter return jets, pool/spa light, main drain covers, aerator fittings and any other item you don’t want painted. Using painters tape, carefully tape off all the tile line, step/bench tiles, return lines, and skimmer mouth. Once you have everything taped off it’s time to prime.

Primer Coat

Now that the pool has been drained and taped, it’s time to prime. Remember not all types of paint use a primer. So if you have paint that doesn’t use a primer, skip to the painting step. Roll the primer onto the interior surface of the pool using a 9” roller with a ½” nap, starting with the walls and ending with the floor. Once you’ve completed priming allow the prime to cure for 24 - 48 hours. Then it’s time to paint.

Painting Interior

The pool has now been drained, taped, and primed. It’s time for paint. The type of paint you choose will determine the number of coats. Start painting the walls first and finish with the floor. If the paint you are using requires a time period in between coats, make sure you take that time. It will allow the paint to cure and harden increasing its chemical resistance and life span. It is suggested for steps, shallow areas and wading pools, sprinkle sand on the coating before it dries to make the area slip-resistant.

Fill and Balance

Now that the pool is painted and the paint has cured, it’s time to fill the pool and balance the water. Depending on your area you may need to order a water truck to deliver. If you have a garden hose available, toss it in. The average pool should take anywhere from 36 - 48 hours to fill. Once the pool is full allow the fresh water to circulate for 3 - 4 hours. After the circulation period it’s time to complete the first water test of many on the new water. Make sure to test the water weekly to maintain proper water balance and overall pool health.

In The Swim Aqua Coat Water-Base Swimming Pool Paint

In The Swim Aqua Coat Water-Base Swimming Pool Paint is a water-based acrylic pool paint. Aqua Coat can be applied to damp surfaces. This water-based acrylic pool paint can be applied to previous acrylic coating or over rubber base paint. Versatile water-based acrylic pool paint yields a short down time of only 3 days in most cases. Requires a minimum of 2 coats on initial application. Coverage: Approximately 250 - 300 sq ft per gallon. Should be applied with a 9” roller equipped with a ⅜” nap. Apply second coat at least 4 hours after the first coat. Pot Life: Indefinite as long as it is properly sealed. Allow to cure for 2 days before filling.

User questions & answers

Question: Can you run this with just cold water for the summer
Answer: So how low would you run it and still be able to use my swim floats? (I'm usually still cold) I'm so glad to hear from someone who uses it as a pool and a hot tub. I've been looking all over. I just want some sun and water.
Question: what is the diameter
Answer: The outside diameter is right at 71". I didn't measure the inside diameter. Hope that helps.
Question: Is it comfortable to sit in since there is no seats
Answer: I own 2 Nordic hot tubs. Wonderful company great products. But this Miami is my favorite of the 3. We decided to ride out pandemic at our lake house and hubby refused to move a tub here so he bought me this inflatable to put up. If Coleman had of had this 15 years ago I would have never bought $12,000 worth of hot tubs. Our tubs are our private time. But we do invite people over. Best $500 I’ve ever spent. 73 years old and both on no meds. Bottom a little slippery but not any worse than our big tubs.
Question: the demensions say 34.5" in diameter. that cant be right
Answer: The 34.5" refers to the dimensions of the box it is shipped in. It is 71 x 26, as stated. We've had it running for a couple of week now and just love it. The bubbling water is magnificent and relaxing.

User questions & answers

Question: can this burner be used indoors
Answer: I set it on top of my electric range and use it for cooking with a wok. I like gas better for the wok. Works fine, although my house is pretty drafty so I don't have to worry much about ventilation. Downside? Don't leave it setting on the electric stove and turn the electric burner on. Might do a little damage when the gas explodes!
Question: My reason for considering this purchase is if the stove has a low setting, low enough so oatmeal doesn't burn. Some reviewers said yes AND no
Answer: I cook oatmeal on this burner every morning with no additional hardware. turn it very low- as low as possible. if your pot is small, do not cover. if the pot is deep, use a cover. you can pretty much tell if it boils over that the heat is too hi and or the pot is too shallow.
Question: is the unit stable, get hot enough for a wok pan? flat bottomed wok
Answer: Yes! Very stable that's why I got mine, and is great for larger pans/pots. I'm not sure about hot enough for wok but it should as I have cooked large pots of stew. For me it's a great one burner stove.
Question: Does this product includes the connection to the propane tank or do I have to buy a separate hose
Answer: The Coleman 5453A series Propane Stove is supplied complete with the following: 5453-2351 = Grate. R430-565T = Regulator assembly. 5453-3351 = Foot Assy. 5453-1351 = Knob. Note: The Regulator Assembly is the connection to the 16.5 Coleman Propane Fuel tank. A hose would be an addition of your choice if you wanted the propane to be farther away from the stove itself.
