Answer:	This is 3.5 male on each end. Which is the same size as the traditional Walkman / mp3 player size for a set of head phones. Sorry, the 2.5 is smaller, where this cord will be to big. For example, I have mine attached to a Nokia smart phone, and the AUX port On the radio in my genesis... Sounds just as good as the other higher priced cord, which I use in the house.

Answer:	Technically you can connect it as both units use 3.5mm jacks. However, it won't do anything for you. The jack on Nano is an ouput jack for a speaker or headset. The jack on the Amazon Dot is also an output jack - for the same thing. So, you are technically connecting two ouput devices. You won't hear anything on either of the devices. A better result would be to connect the Echo Dot to a speaker or use Bluetooth to connect it to the speaker

Answer:	It is safe and balanced. I'm using a Razer Blade 15 and it works perfectly. It's great to have such a solid, sturdy laptop stand (solid metal). Answer:	Absolutely, it should fit any size. It is super sturdy and has a rubber like coating as well as a lip on the front that clearly supports a much heavier and larger laptop than my 15”.

Answer:	You can use regular cables. I am using regular cables(except the power). If you have the monitor on the tallest setting, you will see the connections. I keep mine low because My desk is high so you don’t see them.
