Answer:	I have the same problem. I have had this 1-gallon container for 3 years, filled with gas and stored in my truck bed. This is the 1st time I actually use it, try to pour the gas out, and I could not. No gas come out of the nozzle no matter how I turn the lock/unlock ring. Think about it when you are on the road running out of gas, then find the stored gas you carried for years just for in case like this would not come to recuse you... Fortunately I am in my garage just trying to change the old gas with refresh one and I am still researching on how to make the simple thing work - get the gas out of the nozzle.

Answer:	Measuring tip to tip on the supportsame is 4 1/8 inches. I wouldn't go smaller than 3.5 but I think you're good. Make certain the stove is on a level surface. It works great. Get a small GSI coffee pot.

Answer:	Very adjustable. You can turn it up full (rocket) or turn it down for a nice simmer.
Question:	How long does a fuel canister last with this stove? Planning a trip would like to know how many canisters it would take for a week
Answer:	I recently took a 3 day 2 night trip with this stove and a single 110 gram canister. I Used it to make breakfast 2 cups water in a Mountain House scrambled eggs with bacon and 2 large cups of coffee. Then dinner was very similar. So I used it 4 times to boil about 4 cups of water each time. I still had enough fuel left for a couple more meals. Use a windscreen, a wide base pot like an Imusa .9 quart grease pot. I would think a single 230 to 250 gram canister would be enough. If you want to have a backup use an alcohol stove. I do regardless.

Answer:	Any canisters of that size that has an Isobutane/butane mix will work regardless of the brand. Coleman, Jet Boil, Snowpeak, Msr canisters are really all the same fuel and will work. Always be sure to read the manual to make sure and use proper assembly instructions.

Question:	what stand (tripod) do you guys use
Answer:	Yes, I used it to replace the same black and gray pump that came with my 20+ year old XGK, and it works perfectly. The black and grey pump could crack if you overtightened it. This one solves that problem.

Answer:	Mine is around 10 years older than that, and it works perfectly.

Answer:	It will work on the regular whisper lite, Internationale model, and the xgk variants. It will not work on the dragonfly.It may look different than the one that you're replacing, but it is a superior design to the older models.
