| Answer: | Mountain House meals, I cannot speak to other brands, take about 8-10 minutes to reconstitute with boiling water. They are always still very hot when I go to eat them. The bag has a ziplock feature that you can close after you add water, which traps the steam and retains the heat inside the bag. I've never had a cold Mountain House meal from waiting for the cooking process. |
