The straps that are going across the side of the bag aren't sewn onto the bag and you can pull those up to make the normal straps shorter and make the side ones bigger for you to carry horizontally

Answer:	I have had one of these for quite a while and it may fit two 1 gallon jugs of milk in the bottom with some ice around it and then you can probably fit a few things on top of that. If you lay it flat you can put a large to in it to keep it hot on your way home. But that's about as big as the capacity is.

Question:	Is this the Canvas Series
Answer:	Since it's a flexible cooler I would use the sheets that can be molded around the items in the cooler. Something flexible works very well. That being said, I just use regular ice cubes. The benefit of the ice packs is there's no clean up needed, you just take it out and refreeze. With the POlar Bear, the ice stays cold with minimal melting so there's no issues. Either way, you can't go wrong.
Question:	Is this really leak proof?....if turned on it's side, etc
Answer:	Yes. Our zippers are water resistant, not waterproof. Waterproof zippers are very expensive. As long as you keep your cooler from falling upside down, you shouldn't have any problems. Or, you can use the zipper as a pour spout to drain off excess water.
Question:	Will this fit in a suitcase for a trip
Answer:	I doubt it, if you did there would be no room for ice. This cooler is not very convenient to get in and out of. If you drink beer like I do, it's a hassle to deal with the zipper and buckles. If you're trying to see how long you can keep a few beers cold, it's good for that. Otherwise, I'd find another cooler.

I don't have the 40 pack, but the 20 pack held 12 cans of beer, on foot long subway sandwich, almost a whole 10lb bag of ice and it kept ice for 2 days... and it still very cold but wet water on the 3rd day of my 103 degree motorcycle ride through the wilderness of Eastern Oregon last summer. I went with the 20 pack because of the size issue... a 40 would have been too big and too heavy for the tail rack on my motorcycle / dirtbike. It did however fall off to one side while on a particularly rough section of trail and while it "bobbed along" hanging from the side of my bike for miles and miles, it never leaked a drop of melted ice water... I would assume the 40 would perform equally as well.

Answer:	The pockets wil just barely hold an 8x10 sheet the inner size of cooler is approx 8x14. Think twice about this item. Within 6mo of my purchase the bag corners developed holes sent it back to company and they refused to replace it and said I had caused the problem. The customer service rep was less than pleasant. I will not recommend or purchase from them again.

Answer:	The bottom and sides are leak proof the top zipper is not. Get a yeti if you need leak proof zipper but it will cost a few hundred more
Question:	Almost every review (positive and negative) talks about the zipper being poorly sewn in. Has this issue been resolved in current models
Answer:	This cooler will fold down flat to fit in a suitcase.. but it would take up quite a bit of room. What I would suggest is to use this cooler as your carry-on, and then when you get to your destination you can unpack the clothes and use it as a cooler.
