When it's bitter cold, I run the space heater. Honestly, it throws so much heat, I run it only 5"-10" at a time. Call your local Electric Company! Question:	From what I see in the reviews it seems that there is a problem with the cord getting to hot and the tip of it melting.Is there a better quality cord
Answer:	I've had no issues with the cord attached to the cooler itself but I did have an issue with the Schumacher PC-6 120AC to 6A 12V DC Power Converter that I purchased for indoor use. It ran hot and in less than 6 months it died (Amazon graciously allowed me to return it and gave me a full refund). I replaced it with a Wagan 5 Amp AC to 12V DC Power Adapter. While it gets a little warm, it runs much cooler than with the Schumacher adapter. In fact, the Igloo runs quieter and appears to be more efficient with this adapter. That said I think the power source may be the root cause of the issues that others may have with overheating/melting. I run my cooler inside, all day, everyday as it serves as my office refrigerator and I've had it since last November. I love it and will buy another on the sad day planned obsolescence kicks in.

Answer:	I just tried the NON insulated 27oz. And 64oz. Klean Kanteen Classic bottles and they do NOT fit inside the 16 can size while standing up, with the loop cap. I'm almost certain it would fit perfectly with a flat cap like the bamboo one. The lid stays about half an inch open with my kanteens.

Answer:	I know this is far after the fact, but when I have any problem with tears, leaks, rips or cracks I use E-6000 glue for the repair. I use it on everything.... Work boots and even on patches for my husband's work jeans. It holds up in the wash, dryer and even winter weather when I use it on outside repairs.

Answer:	This is not a good cooler. The strap ripped off the original cooler purchased, causing to hit the ground & crack - making it no longer waterproof. The mfg was kind enough to replace it when I complained - 2nd cooler, the corner of the liner has again cracked off with the 1st use. The hard plastic liner cannot endure any usage & the shoulder strap cannot carry any weight. I give this cooler an "F" & was so excited by many of the features described. This is not worth the money - go for the Yeti or any other cooler would be my advice

Answer:	It will keep ice all day. It depends on how many times you get into it on a hot day as with any cooler. Mine does the job. I have the flip 12 which I take to work every day and I have the flip 18 as well. I recommend the flip 18 for what you’re doing because it will hold a little more ice
