Question:	How long does it stay cold for
Answer:	I would say yes because it is a soft sided cooler. It does not have additional padding tho. Straps are padded. I am very pleased with this. Packed 4 frozen water bottles, 7 sandwiches, bags of chips, and cheese and after bottles still frozen at 3. Packed the lunch at 6am. We will use this a lot.
Question:	Can the inside handle heat
Answer:	If it is empty you should be able to crush it down or fold it a good bit. Pretty sturdy bag though.

Answer:	The 24 pack will hold 24 -12 oz cans plus 14 lbs. of ice. The 48 pack will hold 48-12 oz. cans plus 20 lbs. of ice. You can fit 16 oz. cans in the cooler withe less ice or maybe 4 less cans and the same amount of ice.
Question:	How does this do on the beach with sand? Zippers still work with some sand in them
