Answer:	It is a soft cloth. I think it would not scratch paint unless you get dirt trapped under it and leave it that way.

Answer:	It depends how you position the pad on the tailgate but it covers my tailgate on a 2012 Tacoma with the Velcro bands that hold the bikes positioned mostly in the tailgate. It does a great job covering the tailgate!

Answer:	I bought this tailgate pad for my 2020 Silverado 1500. It has been on the truck for 3 months now, as I use it daily. The fit is very good, no issues. The adjustable section in the middle allows you to still use the 2 back-up camera's. I am very happy with this purchase.

Answer:	Small size as there are only two sizes. But in my opinion the small size is too small, yet the large size would be too big.

Answer:	It should, since the front wheel goes over tailgate pad between the down bar. I’ve used mine with a road bike and mountain bike without issues. Depending on how thick the down bar is but a normal size, again, shouldn’t have issue.
