Answer:	Depends on the type of fenders.... I have plastic fenders on my e-bike. They easily deform when i put on the tension bar to hold the bike tight and they spring back to the original position when I release the tension bar. If you have metal fenders, i suspect that they will not spring back to their original shape

Answer:	We have a Pacifica and the bike rack fell off the first time we used the. They are designed for minivans, but I would find a better quality product.

Easy Rear Cargo Access | Quick Release Tilting Lever, Collapsible Center Post

Our innovative Quick Release Smart Tilt feature allows the entire rack to be dropped away from the vehicle for rear cargo access, even while bikes are loaded. When bikes are unloaded, the center post and hook arms can be folded down flat with the push of a button for quick and easy access to the vehicle back hatch.
