Question:	Will the "without a rack" straps work on a minivan with sliding doors
Answer:	I have side rails only (front to back) without cross bars and it worked perfectly without the cross bars.Just make sure you attach the straps to the posts that connect the side rails to the car so the straps and bag don't slide. It didn't budge an inch on my Pilot all the way from Ohio to Florida and back.

Answer:	I bought this for my son's 1999 Honda Accord when he moved to live with me for a while. His car needed the rooftop cargo tie down hook and ratchet straps to secure it to the roof of the car. If you have the rails on top fo the Flex this will work perfectly, if you don't you will need rooftop cargo tie down hook and ratchet straps. The straps provided were too long with tie downs and very hard to get off if you need to remove the cargo bag at over nite stops

BUt I still am concerned and have a question: The wobble bolt nut has a nylon thread to keep it from coming loose. But nylon threaded nuts are not designed to take on and off. The nylon loses its bite. Well, I need to take it on and off often. What is the recommendation from Allen?

Answer:	We used ours w Toyota 4 runner and it overlapped the cross-members. But The straps are adjustable to fit almost anything.

Answer:	It is protected with an anti slip mat. It depends on your roof. We had 8 totes of various sizes on a older suv. No weight problems. HOWEVER... make sure weight is distributed evenly. We did stop at first rest area to redistribute. Worked great at maximum speed! Very happy with purchase!

Answer:	Of course they could, but to be fair if you locked it in your car with say class windows and I wanted what was inside as well they could smash the windows and take it. Personally I suggest either a camera to catch them after the fact or a simple 12 gauge. Both are great at stopping them before and after they try to steal. Hope this helps 3)

Answer:	Might depend on where your lic. plate is located. I have a Ford F250 and in the upright position the carrier just about matches where the tailgate is and there is very little obstruction of the plate, which is located on the bumper. In the down/open position it is lower than the plate.
Question:	What is the inside dimension? Can I fit a 24” x 24” box
Answer:	The weight capacity is determined by the vehicle's tongue weight capacity. Having a 1 1/4" receiver should not make a difference as any adapter will hold the weight. The only issue you may see is the weight of your load making your vehicle sit too low. Check your owners manual for tongue weight capacity or Google the tongue weight capacity for your specific vehicle.

Question:	Will this work on a car without a roof rack
Answer:	Yes. My car does not have a roof rack and it worked just fine. You just have to anchor the hooks under the weather strip on the inside frame of your car doors.
Question:	Does this product come with a warranty
Answer:	It probably does, but the best way to find out is to ask the seller.
Question:	When you put the hooks through the rubber strips, doesn't it scratch the pain from rubbing on it during the entire trip
Answer:	The hooks will latch onto the door edge which is covered by the rubber seal once the hook is removed. I wouldn't worry about that. I would place some protective material on the roof where the strap comes in contact with the roof to protect the paint from the strap rubbing against it. Hope that helps.
Question:	Will it fit a 2013 Chevy Spark
Answer:	If you can pull back the door rubber seal, then you should be able to attach the straps that they come with it.

Question:	what is the pin size
Answer:	The hole on the rack for the hitch pin is 1/2". This is designed to work with the No Wobble Bolt that is included with the rack. This bolt works to securely tighten the rack when installed on the vehicle and keeps the rack from moving during use.
Question:	how do you put a womens bike on this rack
Answer:	The brackets that the straps are attached to rotate around the rack arms, making it fairly easy once you figure out the best position. I actually had 3 women's bikes on the rack with no problems. The straps were on the diagonal bar and the vertical bar below the seat and it was very tight, no movement at all. No issues with women's bikes at all here.
Question:	What's the best way to lock bikes to this rack? I've never used a hitch rack before
Answer:	If you are talking about leaving the bikes, we purchased the doberman lock and secured the bikes and lock to the straight pole on back, we have two to interweave between the bike wheels and the pole. We also brought a locking pin for the hitch. Never had a problem, we have left them on there while down the shore, on bike trails while we walk or go to get something to eat.
Question:	What's the distance between the two carry arms (the ends of the arms
Answer:	On the current version (2016 and newer) hitch racks, the carry arms are 11.5" apart on center. This translates to an outside dimension of approximately 13"

Open your door and carefully pull back the weatherstripping seal.

With the seal pulled back, place one of the 6 included door hooks on the metal doorframe.

Answer:	I have not tried to open up the back of my Hyandai Sante Fe with my bike on it. I guess I was just assuming you would only be trying to open up your back gate without a bike(s) on it. Sorry I cannot help you out with an answer.

Answer:	The product info says 39.1 lbs. It seems at least that and is fairly unwieldy.
Question:	Does anyone have a good secure locking system for the bikes
Answer:	We use our bike locks thru the bike wheels, bike frame and thru the mount . The only problem is that you must use the threaded pin that comes with the rack to secure the rack in the receiver hitch... Wish I could use the lock I have for the rest of my trailers/etc to secure the whole thing to the truck.
Question:	I read there is a lock available for the hitch, however is there a locking system for the bikes
Answer:	There is not a locking system for the bikes. The bikes are kept securely in place by the vertical bar with removable braces at the top. The bar will not fold down without the hitch key lock but the bikes could be removed by lifting over this bar. An additional bike lock would be recommended.
Question:	Can you buy the 2-bike rack and then an add-on for
Answer:	You can buy the four set up and then only assemble the first half (2) until you want to connect the second half later in life.
