| Answer: | I'm not sure where you'd contact the maker, but I find that my bottle doesn't leak, even with the seal out. You may not have the same experience. You might look in the hardware aisle, where all the multiple screws, bolts, etc. are at Home Depot or Lowes, or in their plumping aisles for replacement washers to see if they might have a matching size. |

| Answer: | I don't find the bottle to give the water any funny taste. I can't speak to whether it would if the water was in the bottle for some period of time before you drink from it, but I think most of fill it and then use it pretty quickly whether biking or whatever. I use it for fluids while refereeing ice hockey, so I fill it at the rink just before going on the ice and then using it up pretty quickly during a one-hour game and never noticed any taste. |
