Answer:	Hi Joseph R. Emsick, Migration can be done using the old machine's HD as long as there is an operating system in it. This option is called the Image and Drive Assistant. We connect the working old machine's HD with an operating system then migrate using the new machine. The this is that the old machine's HD needs to be recognized in the new machine. Digital Rights Management or DRM will still apply for programs and will need a license reset from the manufacturer plus a manual reinstallation. Architecture will come into play as well. 32x to 64x means incompatible programs will not be migrated to the 64x machine and PCmover will not convert incompatible programs to work on the new machine. Answer:	The basic software - local non-cloud backup - is perpetual, with free upgrades within the same version. There are subscriptions available for optional cloud services. I run a wide variety of TI versions from 9.1 (on old XP systems, before the cloud was available) to 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 (on newer operating systems - I probably have over 30 licenses), and they all keep working on all the machines with no ongoing costs or renewals. Eventually, they'll stop updating older versions, but they still work fine unless you upgrade to a newer operating system that the older version doesn't support. I don't use cloud backups on any of these.

I'm looking for the actual disk, Acronis True Image 2020 - 1 Computer. If this doesn't include the disk, please say so.

Question:	Does this move programs
Answer:	It does move programs and all files; except, things like some printer programs, Super Anti-Spyware, etc. It did copy System Mechanic, Webroot, and all programs - except: if there is a trial version of a program on the new computer and you are trying to copy a version of the same program from the old computer. You had to delete any trial version on the new computer first; before trying to copy a version of the same program from the old computer. If you buy the program make sure you print the 22 page Users' manual from the disk menu before trying anything. The small short instructions inside the box doesn't describe all the steps that are necessary.
Question:	After the transfer, will the old desktop / laptop still functional for a period of time
Answer:	The old/source desktop/laptop will not be changed by the transfer to the new/destination PC with PCmover.
Question:	Will it move files and programs from a win10 computer to another win 10 computer with a ssd hard drive

Answer:	Licensing works as follows, 1 license is good for one source PC to one target PC or if you’re transferring from a Hard drive directly then it would be per 1 target PC. You can transfer as many times as needed to make sure your data is moved over completely and if something you didn’t want is transferred then you can use the undo feature to remove whatever was transferred in the most recent attempt.
