Answer:	The version of Checksoft I bought works with Vista.(Personal Deluxe). Check manufacturer's website for any supporting software needs, but I just loaded, set up and used it for years until recently, where I can't get it to load onto new HD onto which I loaded Vista OS.

Answer:	Actually it never accepted my registration. Maybe due from buying from Amazon, I don't know. But it's never been a problem. It pops up and asks me to register, but that never succeeds. I've had this software for several years now and have had no issues with it.

Answer:	This program is long out of support and when I asked the company for support, they offered only to sell me a mostly full price version of their newer software. I would caution anyone from buying it particularly if you intend to use it with any of the accounting programs unless you know exactly what you are getting and what you can do with it. You can't see the fine print on the box image of this online product to see the specific versions it supports. The box image does show that it works with Windows XP and Vista, if that's any clue as to how old this is.

I do not know how many times this can be done, but I know it can be done. Also, about every 3 years you need to get the new version of QuickBooks to stay in a "supported" software. How many times would you change computers in 3 years? You can probably keep using the unsupported software after 3 years a long as you aren't using the payroll module. This has been my experience.
