Answer:	I agree with smoky 100% I have been with Dragon dictate since the beginning and when I finally was able to switch back to A Mac computer and they came out with a version for the Mac I was in Heaven I have been running the PC version on a partitioned hard drive but my equipment was finally too old and would not support the newer versions of windows and I wasn’t going to spend any more money so I completely abandon all PC ties and relied on The Mac version getting better and I kept up with all the updates until they finally stopped working with the Mac version.. I am dictating this on an iPhone 7 without glasses so it is what it is. I am contemplating maybe getting a PC laptop just to run The windows version because it is so much superior to the Mac version. I think the last PC version I used was 11 and it’s right out of the box accurate accuracy blew me away. I could not believe that my kids and their friends didn’t know how to put together words in their text messages until I got my own phone and tried to dictate with it and realize that the auto correct was in fact inserting the wrong words and going back to try to correct any errors wasn’t worth the time and that they could figure it out in contacts. Well being old I always wanted to go back to correct the words that were inserted incorrectly. But whatever if I can go back to a partitioned hard drive and get a reasonably priced copy of windows I guess I’ll do that. For many years I was chasing the feather blowing down the street always just out of reach which was the Hope that the Mac version of dictation software would finally Live up to my expectations but then they abandoned it. I was looking around for maybe something new that works on the iPhone but a few that I looked at still didn’t seem up to what I expected. So anyway it’s Sunday morning and I was just laying in bed recovering from surgery and I figured I’d leave a comment which I’ve never done before using this phone and it didn’t say to be doing too bad but I expected after all these years should be perfect and I’ll bet by now the PC version is just like I said the last I tried was 11.

Answer:	This course provides a lot of vocabulary and sentence patterns. I don't think it's good practice for structured conversation, however. Because I do not know your true level today, it is hard to judge. Part of it depends on why you're learning again. Are you planning to travel and need to start speaking again? Or are you trying to rebuild and deepen your knowledge as a personal project?If you are learning for travel, you want something audio based. There is a good review of grammar with a cranky old Frenchman called Michel Thomas Italian Advanced. You could also try the Pimsleur Level 3 lessons, available 5 at a time on Audible.If you're of a new age bent, or at least can tolerate that sort of thing, Speak Italian Magically by Antonio Libertino is available in MP3 downloads. It combines stories and visualizations mixing English and Italian, progressing to just Italian, to get you thinking in the language. If the idea of kicking off your shoes and relaxing into a comfy chair to soak up Italian sounds a bit much for you though, not a good idea.Finally, if you are trying to get your Italian back out of general interest, I would start with Italian Ultimate Review and Practice then move, for example, to a Dover bilingual reader of Calvino or modern Italian literature.

Answer:	I believe they're in .PDF format. You may want to resubmit the question about whether or not it's .PDF. If .PDF works with Mac, then, yes.
Question:	I have the 2006 single DVD and the last issue is #460, December of 2005. The new version seems to be two DVD. Does the new version cover the issues beyond 2005 and issue #460? How many years are covered after 2005? Thanks
Answer:	There's only been one printing, in 2006, on a single dual-layer DVD-ROM. We've tried multiple times to get Amazon to fix the description so it's in accord with the box, but they'll only do it if we can refer them to a manufacturer's web page. Since the product has been out of print since 2008, it's impossible to meet that requirement.
Question:	Does anyone know if this will run under Windows
Answer:	I use it on a PC under XP, but it's just a DVD with each MAD magazine scanned in its own .pdf file, indexed into yearly folders. Any machine with a DVD reader and Acrobat or some fake PDF reader ought to be able to view these. So I'm guessing a Windows 8 machine should have no problem with them whatsoever. Good memories!
Question:	For the cds, is the definition and color museum quality
Answer:	Definitely not. That's my main complaint. When you zoom in, it's pretty grainy (low dpi scans). It was great to see all those old mags again, but I was a bit disappointed in the quality. Hope this helps.
