I have to start by saying the obvious, you should know this answer, just read the release notes on the software from the software vendor. MB 3.0 is all new, and all inclusive. Any previous versions that were dedicated to one or the other security issues previous MB software has addressed do now ALL exist in MB 3.0, hence the premium price.
